I ordered the American pizza which was described as mozzarella basil and fries. I assumed as any normal person would that the base would be tomato like a normal pizza and the fries would be on the side. But no . This seemed to have been a mockery on Americans as it was a sloppy soggy pizza with cheap mozzarella and the fries all soggy on top. Disgusting. And also when I complained the staff did not offer anything not even a refund just said it was my fault for ordering something I didn’t enjoy. Before we ordered the waiter had assured us they were Naples authentic pizzas they definitely weren’t.

They absolutely scam you. I’ll start with the fact that they have mediocre service at best, they ignored our request for water multiple times, didn’t care to check on us, and had to try really hard to get their attention. Food was edible but not good, the crazy part is that our bill would have been 118 euros, and they added their own tip to make it 160 EUROS! We honestly could get by the service and food for the price, but when they add a 35% tip for no reason, maybe just because we were 4 people, I had to write a terrible review. DO NOT go here unless you want to get robbed.

This was a really good place, unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the delicious food but the waiter was really cool, friendly and helpful. We got ourselves pizza because we were told that chefs were fron Naples. Very good beer, St. Stefanus which I've never tasted before. Food took no time to get ready!

Overly priced food in Monaco but can't expect much more. I had the truffle ravioli which was an extremely small portion. My husband had the pizza which was also bland tasting. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place because it's super small, expensive and portions small

While staying in Monaco recently we ate at this restaurant twice. The food and drinks were amazing and the service and staff excellent, The menu is well priced compared to other places in the area and I would highly recommend. I had pizza and it was amazing.

I had a memorable lunch at Tip Top in Monte Carlo, indulging in their fish and chips. The fish itself was incredibly fresh and succulent, melting in my mouth. The batter, light as air and perfectly crisp, gave way to flaky, moist fish. But the real star was the homemade tartar sauce – a taste of heaven! The dish was presented with an artist's touch, beautifully plated and garnished. Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the restaurant had a wonderfully inviting ambience.

Small place near the Casino. Historical prepares various dishes. We ate bourguignonne snails, crocque monsieur and a good meat tartare. High prices but we are in Monte Carlo. Maybe a little tight.... good!!

This small little eatery is simply delicious in every way . One minute from the Casino in Monte Carlo . Late opening with delicious food, good selection of drinks , friendly and attentive staff . Prices are good and not OTT like elsewhere . My recommendation is the Veal Milanese which is perfection along with a delicious Caesar Salad . Their selection and take on the Burger menu is also hugely tasty -

The culinary gem of the principality! I love Tip Top, a great combination of excellent food and service. It's been some time since my previous visit but it's still the best value in town. My sister lost her scarf in the restaurant but they were very accommodating when we went back to look for it and they found it! This Monaco icon should be on everyone's shortlist when visiting the principality.

Nice small place, very close to Monte Carlo Casino and Cafe de Paris. We found a table without reservation, on Saturday afternoon. Good food, good value for money, big portions. The burrata was very tasty. The prices are good considering the location. Nothing too fancy, just good enough for a lunch in the centre of Monaco.

The place was packed with people, but they managed to find a table for the four of us. The food was really good and not too expensive. We ordered the Royal Bacon Cheeseburger and it was delicious. I liked the toilets because they had hand cream, which is a bonus for me.

My experience at Tip Top Italian Restaurant in Monaco was, unfortunately, a disappointment. I opted for the marinara pizza, expecting a simple yet flavorful dish, but it fell far short of my expectations. The pizza was very dry, with barely any sauce, and the center of the pizza had no sauce at all, as seen in the picture. This lack of balance left the dish feeling bland and uninviting, which was surprising given the restaurant’s Italian roots. As an Italian-owned establishment, I had hoped for an authentic and satisfying pizza, but sadly, this wasn’t the case. I’ve had much better authentic pizzas elsewhere that celebrated the simplicity and richness of Italian cuisine with fresh, well-distributed ingredients and proper attention to detail. While I appreciate the necessity of having a toilet available for guests, I was also concerned by the fact that the toilet is part of the kitchen and not accessed via a separate entrance. This setup feels unhygienic and not in line with the standards one would expect, especially in a restaurant setting. Having the toilet in such close proximity to the food preparation area raises concerns about sanitation and overall cleanliness. It would be much more appropriate if the restroom were in a separate, designated area, ensuring a higher level of hygiene for both staff and guests. While I hope the restaurant can improve on both the quality of its pizza and its overall layout, I was left feeling disappointed with my visit.

Quick service, plenty vegetarian options and friendly servers! We had the 4 cheese pizza and the Margherita pizza and they were both perfect. We also had the ricotta ravioli with truffle and that was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend!

I really like this place. The food is excellent and good value for money. Especially for Monaco. Its unpretentious,.cozy and fast. Don't be put off by the one stars reviews. I assume most are left by Americans who do not get this concept of restaurant

One of the classic quick and good food options in the center of Monaco. But, as longstanding client i have to note that there was likely a change of ownership and management which did not improve the place. Burgers used to be served with a pleasant coleslaw salad, savoury sauce in the burger and generally more salad/onions etc. New version, while up in price, is a worse product. Also the favourite cute waitress seems to be no longer there. WHY buy a perfect place at perfect location and make things worse???

So award for the rudest waiter goes to the guy in this place who served my wife and I on Sunday 6th October. Apparently it is met with a disgusted look if you just wanted a couple of drinks, even though the place wasn’t half full! We then got delivered two of the worst bloody Mary’s I’ve ever tasted and thankfully a waitress got us some Tabasco and Celery salt to at least make the €16 drink palatable!! Was told never to come back as we left as well!!! Such a charming Waiter!!!

Wet sweet staff. Very nice, and attentive to me on my solo trip to Monaco. I know I can always always rely on this place to be open if I’m hungry and want to feel safe traveling alone as a woman. Thank you for that!!!

Quick little grab of lunch on our walk abouts. Service is not the best again trying to get attention to get the bill took ages. Food was average the pasta meal was hot and tasty.

Very good place. Tartare was pretty good and the tiramisu was one of the most amazing I had in my life. Also, they have no issue with you wearing shorts, unlike all the snobby restaurants around it.

Snails very good, after I order a mature Uruguayan steak 2 months, the waiter praises me the meat and tells me not to eat it overcooked, it falls well I like blue meat. The meat arrives on time, so thaws for someone who loves blue meat. A sole what;-) 37 balls still meat!!! The waiter tells me that he can do it again but that it will come out the same, so I eat it like this:-((((

When in Monaco, there are a ton of great restaurants. But if you're looking for something fairly inexpensive, grab a pizza and a mojito from Tip Top! You won't be disappointed!

Worst service ever received. Rude and surly waitress… We are always polite with staff in restaurants, shops etc. I’ve never experienced such a rude server in a cafe / restaurant. She also asked if we wanted to add an extra ten euro as tip at the end, we said not but did have euros in cash anyways as usually tip. She slipped the 10 euro tip on again literally just as husband swiped. Seriously avoid this place !!!

Our waitress was rude at best. Every order was wrong, the food was undercooked and it seemed like we were an annoyance for her to even take the order. The food did not justify the cost, and one meal didn’t come out until after everyone else finished eating. There are many options in the area, this should be crossed off your list.

We were hoping for a more pleasant time. Cleanliness was just suitable (Sol, bench seat we had to brush ourselves, sticky table). It is true that the hot and humid weather of the day and the heavy crowds did not help to create a pleasant atmosphere. We also found that the mood music was a bit loud but this may be the mood we wanted. Regarding the food (pizza) nothing wrong, it was good and served quickly.

Every dish was delicious. The service was great too. We’re surprised at the overall ratings, it should be higher in our opinion. Maybe we’re not that picky but my party of 3 thought all dishes were great. We finished with another delicious plate for dessert, the crème brûlée! It’s must have.

Visited in November 2023. A nice little place with tables inside and outside. The fries here are great , they're hot, crispy, fresh and perfectly salty. I ordered medium cooked meat and so it was. I had a feeling that my burger was made with love. The waiters are friendly and attentive, speak fluent English and French. The furniture is simple wooden but clean.

Value for money. For Monaco deff a cheaper, relative to other restaurants in Monaco, option for food. However, the cheaper food does not come at a cost on value of food. It’s really great food, great service and a nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

The pasta was very unbelievably delicious. The cream was very thick and tasted so yummy. It was not on the menu but they prepared it on our request. The chicken burger was ok. Hot chocolate and cappuccino were good as well. The ambience is really nice and situated very close to the casino.

The outside seating was very nice with parts that were shaded in parts that were sunny with plenty of seating. The Ragu pasta was very tasty and just enough food to not overfill you. It also had plenty of meat which is exactly what I wanted. The chicken Caesar salad is also quite good. The chicken was breaded and Crispy and very flavorful. Their menu was online and they provided free Wi-Fi to connect to the menu. The menu was in English as well as many other languages. We would come here again. Price was not horrible and actually quite cheap for Monaco. About $25-35 per head

Pizza with smoked salmon was good, nothing wow. It says cherry tomatoes on the menu but it had one tomato and a half 😂🤣😆. I was hungry and was good pizza. The place is cute and prices are reasonable, but don’t hope that the server will come and check on your table because she won’t. The difference getting paid by tips and not by tips affects the service a lot I would say for some who doesn’t care...5 star ⭐️ review just because I don’t really care about putting your rating down!!! By Monaco standards, this seems to be a reasonably priced restaurant. 60€ for beer, escargots, guazzetto, dessert, and espresso. All tasted fantastic. Service was adequate and the staff were kind enough. I'm wondering why the other people who posted negative reviews had problems there. I did take off one star, as I would have appreciated it if the waiter had come over during the meal to ask me how things were. In fairness, I was asked how the escargots were, but never about the main course.
