Small supermarket down in the basement of Metropole Shopping Centre. As my hotel is charging €16 for a bottle of water this market is a money saver where 1L bottles of water only €1 Also got a tasty beef rice meal very handy if you want a break from Cafe de Paris prices $$$

The quality of the fruits and vegetables was catastrophic, they seemed to be there lying for days, usually you would throw that away. Everything was much overpriced in comparison to the nearby and much better Carrefour City. The shop was hard to find, somewhere in a basement at the end of a shopping center. And it was very narrow.

RACIST ENCOUNTER FROM THE CASHIER. I was treated extremely bad by a employee at this location. She is an elderly lady, assuming she is local. She is in her 50s for sure and works as the cashier. Initially she was making weird faces and rude remarks as she was scanning my products and then after paying I bagged everything and was on my way out but thats when I noticed sunscreen displayed and I needed some. So i went back into the entrance with my already shopped items in the back to look for sunscreen. The cashier lady instantly jumped out and said I need to give my bag to her, she forcefully took away my shopped products in the bag while I was looking at the sunscreen. Then I asked her if she had a smaller size, she said no. So I decided not to buy and took my shopping bag. Then the lady insulted me infront of other customers saying I needed to ask her to grab my shopping bag. Im sure she was being racist towards me and would not have treated a white person this way. I am a person of colour and I think she assumed I was going go steal. I dont need to do that, i have enough money to get to Monaco. I can for sure afford a sunscreen if I wanted it. If I could give 0 stars then I would, the food tasted bad as well.

This place is a lifesaver for visitors who have 'regular person money'. You will still end up buying everyday goods at Harrods' prices... but in Monaco Harrods' prices are considered bargain basement 😂

Lovely little supermarket in the shopping centre at the bottom doors near the deli… small steps down. Hard to find.

Excellent shop with all you need at a reasonable price. The shop looks clean and well maintained and the atmosphere is nice despite it being underground. It's tricky to find. To the right when entering the Monté Carlo mall from the lower level. If you're coming from the escalator from the top go down hill and around the corner down until you see the entrance to the mall with a bakery. It is beside the bakery.
