We were looking for relaxing spot on a beautiful February day....... Actually Valentine's day, our wedding anniversary. The Japanese friendship gardens were a perfect place to relax and enjoy some solitude.
The gardens were gorgeous, the staff was amazingly helpful, the gift shop was cute, but most of all it felt like a blissful Oasis in the middle of the city. 10 out of 10 recommend checking this place out

Beautiful and calming place. We were given a tour guide with information about the construction of the garden and how different areas represent different topographies in Japan. There are koi fish and ducks in the lake in the middle, and several waterfalls. Between the walking trail, a cute gift shop, and tea available for purchase, it's a very calming place and green garden paradise in the middle of the Phoenix desert!

A beautiful and peaceful gem to enjoy a walkthrough. I came here with my teen daughter and she loved taking photos and enjoyed her experience. It definitely takes you to a whole another place being in the garden. It’s small but not crowded. It’s next to the children’s playground so I am pretty sure all the little kids are enjoying there. Which leaves the peaceful walk for adults to enjoy. Park has beautiful wooden benches all around so we could sit and enjoy the views. It has a couple waterfalls, a zen garden, which were lovely for our photos. Also, a small gift shop :) Next time we will definitely try their tea experience! Totally recommend it!

We were lucky to come on a day where an event was happening. We got to make a New Year's wreath, listen to a childrens' taiko drum performance, participate in a traditional Hokkaido dance, and play with mochi. It was very eventful and fun. The staff are so friendly and there are lots of informational signs regarding different cultural items and their meanings.
The garden itself was peaceful and excellently curated. Would definitely recommend.

It is a really lovely spot. It's not huge, but it would be a nice place to eat a quiet lunch or draw or read in a nice green outdoor setting. It's not cheap enough for a daily visit at $14, but it's a great place for occasional quiet time. The baby ducks were an adorable and entertaining bonus in mid-November.

Prices are fair for the amount of care put into it, but the garden feels quite small. Very tranquil and beautiful, with a cozy gift shop full of goodies and Japanese imports. Loved my experience here! Great parking, too.

The price is fair to me for entry. For those did not know, no professional photography. So you are limited to photos. The point is to enjoy this garden on what they have to offer. I felt very relaxed when walking through the garden. Very peaceful. Bathroom is very clean. I do wish to revisit this garden again to participate the tea they do offer.

It was a beautiful Japanese garden. So many little things to see. Very well taken care of. Clean.

It has some beautiful spots, but all in all the garden feels artificial and half baked. Also the noise from the cars and construction sites destroy every immersion.

The garden look like they bring it straight from Japan to Monaco, looks so chill and nice. You might want to bring some bread to feed Koi fish and duck in the small lake here, they are very friendly

Small oasis in the concrete jungles of Monaco. Nice Japanese Garden with small bridges, fish and ducks in the ponds. Very relaxing atmosphere. Really worth to visit.

Still has its beauty as a Japanese garden but needs more care and renovation. Very easy to find here in Monaco. At the back is a very big construction project that somehow affects the beauty of this garden

What a lovely public garden right in the heart of Monaco. Sadly there is currently a large construction project going up right next to the park, or it would be a totally tranquil spot to sit and relax. However, absolutely still a wonderful place to visit while here.
