Le Louis XV-Alain Ducasse à l'Hôtel de Paris
Discussing the Louis XV inevitably brings Alain Ducasse into the conversation, a chef whose influence necessitates a myriad of superlatives. Originating from Orthez in the southwest of France, Ducasse’s passion for the Mediterranean has made him a luminous figure in both the culinary and business worlds.
Now a Monaco resident, he oversees an impressive portfolio of over 30 establishments spanning every continent. At the young age of 33, he was honored with three Michelin stars at the Louis XV, achieving an extraordinary level of culinary excellence. His renowned “Jardins de Provence” vegetable-based menu, introduced in Monaco on May 27, 1987, has been a cornerstone of French culinary heritage for over three decades.
Today, Alain Ducasse’s distinctive approach is vividly expressed through the skilled hands of his trusted lieutenant, Emmanuel Pilon, offering dishes that artfully capture the purity of their ingredients and the spirit of the Mediterranean.

Exceptional culinary experience at one of Monaco's finest restaurants. The Mediterranean-inspired menu truly showcases the best of high-end gastronomy. Particular highlights were the exquisite presentation and the pure, clean flavors of each dish. The legendary "Jardins de Provence" menu lived up to its reputation with outstanding vegetable-based dishes. Service was impeccable, as expected from a 3-Michelin star establishment.
The restaurant's limited operating hours can be restrictive for international visitors adjusting to different time zones. Would appreciate more flexibility in dining times, particularly for late dining options.

Had an amazing experience and loved the food. From caviar to lobster to sea urchin to black truffle, they have an array of exotic and delicious food. Not to mention, there are complimentary breads and parts of the meal that are served beautifully. They were very hospitable and our server, Giovanni, was the best! He was very helpful with asking questions and friendly as well.
