How can I use Official Taxi Monaco App?
You can download the app from Google Play Store or App Store and get started right away.
You will see that the app is easy to use; you can input an exact address or search it using generic names like “hotel”. We have listed some other interesting features provided by this official taxi app:

Are there taxis in Monaco?
The Principality has an official service which tourists can use to move around, visit all the beautiful restaurants and stores, and go back to their hotels in safety. You can also go to the Nice Côte d’Azur airport or many other destinations.
- Taxi Monaco has 95 vehicles operating year-round to all destinations.
- 30 additional cars operate from April to October to selected locations.

Can I get a Taxi Monaco to Nice?
Of course! The service has always provided two types of trips. One is within Monaco’s territory, which means it allows you to visit its many exquisite locations and attractions. The other option is to travel outside, like towards Nice’s Côte d’Azur airport. Everything with comfort and safety.
The mobile app released by the Principality’s official service will just make the booking process easier. It was publicly released on April 8th and developed by a local startup as part of Extended Monaco, a program that aims to accelerate digital adoption in the area. But there is more to it.
How to get a taxi in Monaco?
Available for Android and iOS, the app is free to download. It starts by asking you to create an account and input basic details. Then, you will have to input a pick-up location necessarily in Monaco. For the drop-off, on the other hand, it allows you to select Inside or Outside Monaco.
Once you specify the second address, the app goes to a confirmation page where you can set the number of passengers, view the estimated fare, and choose the payment method – you can add a card or pay the driver directly. You can hail the cab at the moment or schedule it for later.
How much is the taxi fare?
Once you set the pick-up and drop-off locations, the app will show you an estimate. However, it is possible to anticipate some of the common charges. While you can pay the driver directly, the app will ask you to add a credit/debit card anyway in case you want to hail a taxi right away.
- Trips within Monaco in regular conditions (day and night): €18.
- Trips towards the Nice Côte d’Azur airport (day and night): €100.
- Extra charge for waiting time (3-minute grace period): €80 per hour.
