Zeffirino amazing Italian restaurant, good atmosphere, great service
I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The service was excellent, friendly, and very professional throughout the entire evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal.A special mention goes to the manager, Svetlana, who was extremely welcoming and very well organized. She made sure everything ran smoothly and made us feel truly valued as guests. Her professionalism and kindness added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good Italian cuisine, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere!

We made reservations at Zeffirino while visiting from California, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive and refined, making us feel truly welcome.
The pastas were outstanding — beautifully prepared with rich flavors, and we especially appreciated the smaller portions, which allowed us to enjoy multiple dishes comfortably. The pre-ordered ice cream dessert was exceptional and the perfect way to end the meal.
The restaurant’s decor, table settings, and glassware were all elegant and thoughtfully curated, adding to the overall dining experience.
A memorable meal in Monaco — highly recommended for both the food and the atmosphere.

Chaotic and awkward dinner
If you don't know how to manage large groups don't accept them to avoid making a bad impression! Disorganized and confusing service, after the appetizer they served the second, after a long time the side dish, then the central trays of rigatoni with meat sauce, without changing dishes and cutlery! The dishes served were good but the service management was embarrassing.!

disorganized and incompetent service. in a table of 12 served in the center 1 mozzarella 100 g with 2 slices of ham. served first the second, and then in the center a first without changing the dish, if not after insistence. long times not justifiable having anticipated the orders in the reservation. deafening music. all not in line with the fame of the local Genoa

I went there from the good reviews but I got disappointed.
While being served the ravioli by the waitress, there was a black hair in my plate, which I kindly asked her to remove. Noticeable in the photos.
I didn’t want to make a scene, but she just removed the plate with half of the ravioli served like it was nothing, brought a new plate and continued to serve! I had to pay for full plate, even the part I didn’t eat.
I was surprised and disappointed!
No apologies, no new plate (of a food I hadn’t even touched since it happened while she was serving).
I understand that this should be somewhat a good restaurant, but this kind of behaviour I haven’t found in a lot less cheaper places.
I would not go back again.

Disastrous experiment
I had lunch today in this restaurant with my friends.
We chose the lunchtime package, which included a starter, a main course and a glass of wine.
At the time of Service, the waiter spills my glass of (full) wine on my jeans as well as on my phone. Of course, he didn’t do it on purpose but the situation was very unpleasant. I take it upon myself despite my discomfort.
Then comes the addition. The waiter leads us to believe in a commercial gesture by “offering” us the glasses of wine. These were already included in the formula. I point out to him that it is not a gift. He insists that the wine was not understood. I then ask him to check on the map and he finally admits that we are right: the glass is well included.
Especially since there is only one formula at lunch, it is hard to believe that he did not know.
So he redid the cashier’s ticket, but nothing changed, no commercial gesture was applied.
A waiter spilling a drink can happen. But taking us for naive and pretending to offer something already included is much more unpleasant. Error is human, taking customers for fools is not.
In addition, no carafe of water is offered.
I would also point out that we had to ask ourselves to have the glass of spilled wine served to us again.

Zeffirino is beautifully designed – the interior shows an incredible amount of effort and attention to detail, making it a really cozy place to sit and enjoy, even on a rainy day. The food was very good - I had the Milanese schnitzel with mozzarella and tomatoes, which was generous and flavorful. Service was excellent throughout, attentive and warm.

Elegant and pleasant, but not unforgettable
I went to Zeffirino 1939 and I found myself well. Obviously the bill was hefty compared to what is on offer, but it is part of the local experience and I expected it. I ate well: it was not an unforgettable dinner, but overall I had a nice evening.
The place, for my personal taste, is perfect: elegant but not overly pompous, cozy and attention to detail. I was impressed by the open kitchen, with fresh pasta well in evidence, and even the bathroom is carefully decorated.
It is not a restaurant that I would recommend as “must” at all costs, but if you happen to be in Munich and want to live a pleasant experience in a refined environment, it is a good choice.

Small but tasty salad. Well-cooked pasta with mussels and chickpeas. Surprising as a combo but tasteful.
We were feeling a little rushed.... One person had finished the starter and the waitress cleared immediately, put the cutlery back for the person and came to place the dish (while the other guest was still eating his starter)!!!
At our request, the waitress left with both dishes to put them warm.
We found it unpleasant to be in such a hurry. In the formula there is a glass of wine that we did not have. We dared to ask if we could have a coffee instead of the glass of wine which the person in charge refused. This is obviously understandable but would be more pleasant to hear with a little human warmth. Addition of 35€ (1/2 bottle of water 6€).

Read your bill!
We attended Zeffirino in Monte Carlo on the in mid July 2025. We ordered dinner and expressly stated that we each wanted a main course, pudding and wine. We explained that we did not want to order a starter.
After checking the bill later, it turned out we had been served a pesto and bread starter costing 32 euros! At the time we thought this was a gift because we had already ordered dinner and a nice bottle of wine. It is true that I should have checked the bill more closely, but we were then in a hurry to get back to our hotel - we had to get an early flight the following day back to London.
My point is that it does seem unfair to charge us for something we expressly said quite clearly we did not want. I wrote to the restaurant to raise this but of course no response! This is a bit of a warning to fellow readers.

Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere was great! It wasn’t too loud, it wasn’t too quiet, just perfect. The waiter was really nice and served us a great lunch. The food was amazing and totally affordable for 29€ (business meal: 1 starter, bread with oil, 1 main course, wine if you like or something different). I would love to come back!

One of the best restaurants we have ever been to!
Everything was absolutely fantastic! The food, the atmosphere, the staff… everything! We tried the waiters recommendations and it did not disappoint! We had the Focaccina au fromage, Tortino tatin di Portofino (which was just incredible), Prosciutto di Parma e bufala, and some mains. The pistachio ice cream was out of this world delicious!
They were very accommodating with the kids, and made us feel like we were sitting in an Italian home. The food was so fresh, so flavorful and honestly some of the best Italian food we have ever had in a restaurant! Highly recommend! If we could give them more stars we would!

Excellent restaurant beautiful room, very good service , the waiter suggested we shared a starter as we were only going to have a main course & it was a very nice fried calamars & courgettes- then a fillet steak with pepper sauce , delicious meat! and an Osso bucco , nice but very small portion 3 little pieces of meat ,no marrow bone ! Nice desserts - We had wines by the glass , but were refused a glass of water unless we bought a bottle !! a first for me

A visit to this restaurant was a real feast for the senses! From the very beginning I was delighted by the multitude of appetizers - each of them was a small work of art, full of flavor and aroma. Their variety made it hard to resist trying everything, which meant that there was barely room for the main course! And it's a shame, because it was equally delicious. The service also deserves special mention - professional, polite and extremely helpful. You can see that hospitality is at the highest level here. Big applause also goes to the chef for creating such a unique menu and taking care of every, even the smallest, detail. This place offers an amazing culinary experience that I will definitely want to return to. I highly recommend it!

Ottimo ristorante, un must per chi vive a Monte Carlo, oppure è solo di passaggio nel Principato di Monaco. Appartenente all’omonimo storico ristorante di Genova, recentemente ha aperto anche la sua sede in Costa Azzurra. Ambiente chic e raffinato, fresco ed accogliente, servizio (rigorosamente multilingue) cortese e professionale, staff gentile e competente; cibo squisito e di altissimo livello; assolutamente da provare il loro meraviglioso ed unico PESTO (accompagnato con le trofie, e NON viceversa); obbligatorio un assaggio da condividere della focaccia di Recco; e soprattutto originalissimo il gelato (al pistacchio) mantecato al momento. Esperienza da provare e ripetere. Complimenti a Zeffirino Monaco ed in bocca al lupo per questa nuova avventura.

The overall experience was okay)). We had two €34 lunch menus — the tuna was great, and the sea bass with cauliflower had a comforting, homemade touch. A glass of wine was included, but the waiter poured such a small amount it felt noticeably below the standard. Perhaps they have their own “measure” here. However, the service left much to be desired. We waited an unusually long time for the waiter to take our order, and the entire experience felt more focused on inflating the bill than on providing good service. The strange situation with the desserts summed it all up: €30 for ice cream and €24 for berries (like tartelettes). The waiter told us the fruits came with ice cream, so we asked for a scoop of vanilla. He replied, “No, only pistachio is included.” But when the bill arrived — brought by another waiter — it turned out the ice cream wasn’t included, and the total for two desserts came to €70🫠. We also ordered a tarte au citron 🍋, expecting a tart as the waiter confirmed, but what arrived was a dry cookie topped with meringue. It was disappointing, and we couldn’t enjoy it. The pistachio ice cream, however, was delicious! When we questioned the pricing, another waiter admitted, “Yes, it’s very expensive and unreasonable,” agreeing it wasn’t worth it. This made the whole experience feel like a cash grab, geared towards one-time visitors with no regard for creating a positive impression. Honestly, we left with no desire to return

Portions are too small. I ordered a salad and pasta and I was so hungry that I had to eat a lot of bread to feel satisfied. Pesto pasta was nothing special. Tastes the same as canned Barilla pesto sauce.
