Our favorite distraction is from Nice to Menton find an interesting and friendly brunch. That's it. We found the one that's right for us. Very responsive and very professional staff. An accompaniment of the room master , for the choice and composition of dishes. Go ahead with your eyes closed

Smaklijk is excellent in all aspects and highly recommend.
During our family holiday in the Cote D’Azur we wanted to celebrate a birthday, and we were told of this Belgian restaurant with the most fantastic brunch buffet. We thus decided to go based on the reviews, and we were not disappointed—in fact the reviews do not do the restaurant justice; I would say that this was one of the best places we have ever had the pleasure of dining in. This restaurant is located in the luxurious Meridien hotel in Monaco, and from the moment we arrived were we treated like 5 star guests. We would also like to give a special thanks to our waiter, Raphael, for his exceptional hospitality and service. He went above and beyond in answering our questions and with the special birthday treat, helping make the day memorable. We couldn’t thank him enough! As for the food, this buffet was amazing, including a freshly made and finely crafted assortment of meats, cheese, salads and seafood and amazing desserts. Everything was exceptional and better in quality and presentation than some Michelin starred restaurants that we have been to. All in all a 5 star meal at a very reasonable price per person considering the location, quality and service. I can’t recommend this place enough, you will not be disappointed.

Our experience was very positive, beyond our expectation. The food was top , a large variety of delicious food. The service was perfect, our server Raphael was very friendly and very helpful. It was such a positive experience. The atmosphere was very relaxing and family oriented.

I had a great experience during my stay at Le Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel . From the moment I checked in, the staff was professional, courteous, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, and all amenities were well-maintained. A special mention goes to John, one of the servers at the hotel restaurant. His attention to detail, friendly attitude, and prompt service really stood out. He made our dining experience feel personal and enjoyable every time. Ospitalità e servizio eccellente!! Coccolati in tutti i sensi. Il ristorante cura moltissimo i piatti. La reception è disponibile e a disposizione per ogni esigenza. La prenotazione ci è stata riservata dal sig. Andrea che gentilmente ci ha accolto con una bottiglia di champagne di benvenuto in camera. Un’attenzione unica! Ci è stata data la possibilità di fare un late check out. Ristorante con plateatico esterno per poter gustare le giornate di sole e piccola spiaggia privata !! Davvvero eccezionale !! Très bon moment passé dans ce restaurant à l’esprit belge. On peut y manger des plats typiques belges, des plats signatures mais pas que. Nous avions choisi le combiné : repas à 19h et spectacle du comedy club Slash-F. C’était une très bonne soirée. Nous avons pris notre temps puisque le spectacle était à 21h. Nous avons choisi deux bières belges rousses. Bonnes et rondes en bouche mais attention : bien alcoolisées. 10 degrés pour la Triple Impériale dark ale. Nous avons partagé un excellent cornet de frites simple et sans garniture, puis avons choisi le risotto et le gros ravioli. Excellent ! En dessert un simple gaufre de Bruxelles, avec juste du beurre dessus. Le service était très agréable et efficace. On recommande

Endroit sympa, ambiance relax, menus végétariens (pas vegan, attention! J’ai eu du fromage dans mon assiette alors qu’il n’était pas écrit dans le menu!). Par contre la carte des boissons est bien triste. Peu de vins, et beaucoup trop chers, et la carte des bières est quasiment toute rayée (bières indisponibles non remplacées en attendant une soit disant nouvelle carte) et en plus très très chère pour des bières en bouteilles. Rien à voir avec une brasserie Belge comme ils veulent le faire croire. C’est bien dommage.

We had an amazing Sunday brunch here, and the service especially was really exceptional. They had a full range of items on offer, buffet style -- which I love! Lots of hot dishes, a section with warm tapas, a very large seafood offering including raw oysters, tartare de dorade were some highlights. They had an omelette bar, a savory waffle station, tons of desserts, a gelato cart, and fresh fruit. We were also offered a speciality cocktail on arrival. And there are 2 main course offerings to order, roasted chicken and moules frites. We were also offered fresh made waffles / gaufres at the end of our meal. A big shout out to our server, who was from Ireland who made our brunch especially enjoyable!

The staff was extraordinary, friendly to children, the second dinner we had there they already knew some things we enjoyed previously and asked should they repeat it. The cook fulfilled all our wishes for the food. The view is of course amazing. I hope the staff is accordingly gifted in their payments as they gift attention to their guests. We would always enjoy a dinner there.

It was lovely to have lunch here in the sun.
Very relaxing and pretty quiet. Dog friendly in the outside area. Food was okay, just a little too greasy and heavy to my taste but I suppose that’s just Belgian cuisine. Bread offered was not very fresh. Service was mediocre, their card machine wasn’t working, and then they realized they made a mistake with the bill.

A hidden pearl at the back of the Meridian hotel. A large terrace overlooking the private pebble beach, a bit tucked away and therefore also enjoyable early in the season. The staff are very friendly and correct and the menu is Belgian with French influences.
