Dedicated to the patron saint of Monaco, this Roman Catholic chapel dates back to the 11th century & suffered some damage during World War II while being renovated. Traditionally, the wife of the High Lord, Prince of Monaco will leave her bridal bouquet with flowers in the chapel after the wedding ceremony. The Chapel of Sainte Devote is also located along the route of the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Quiet church to pray, reflect, and thank God for all he has given to us. I attended mass on Friday, February 17th, in the early evening. It was a very nice service and the priest seemed very kind.

This 11th century votive chapel is dedicated to the Principality's and Princely family's Patron Saint. Beautiful small little church tucked away in Monaco. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see inside as we came just after closing. Though we did come back at night and took some pictures. It was built in the hollow of the "Vallon des Gaumates", where during the 4th century a frail boat carrying Sainte Dévote's remains ran aground at its entrance. Every year on 26th January, a boat is burnt at nightfall as part of a still fervent traditional ceremony. Free admission.
