I had lunch there when it was replacing the Cafe de Paris during its renovation. Such a beautiful place located in Place du Casino with a beautiful view over it. The food is amazing and the service as well.

about two months before arriving at the restaurant, my wife made a table reservation. I will add that it was one of the surprises my family planned for my birthday. In addition, a day before arrival, an email was sent confirming the reservation. I was happy , we sat down and asked for the dessert card. We received them from one of the waiters, when another came to take the order, he firmly and briefly said that for dessert we have to go on the other side of the square! It annoyed me because he wasn't going to decide what I had to eat. You ruined my birthday afternoon for 200€ because that would be the difference in the bill between ordering a dish and ordering a dessert.

Le service était fluide et discret, ajoutant une touche de classe à mon repas. En conclusion, le Restaurant Salle Empire à Monaco offre une expérience culinaire digne de la royauté. Des plats délicieux, un service impeccable et une atmosphère élégante font de ce restaurant un incontournable pour les amateurs de fine cuisine. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant et lui attribue une note de 5/5.

We had lunch here during our short visit in Monaco. As you can see we were just cross the plaza from the Monte Carlo Casino. The inside dinning salon is about as grand as you can get with chandeliers, gold French ceiling medallions and vast frescos on the walls. On the deck the view is equally breathtaking. Lunch started with a well crafted shrimp cocktail wrapped in avocado and topped with a giant prawn. The little bay shrimp were sweet and firm. Very yummy. I had a French onion soup and it was one of the best I have ever had. The leg of lamb, the veal cutlet and the dessert were all tasty and the service was impeccable. Our server was very kind to us. Highly recommended!

Brilliant service and magnificent food. Located in a stunning interior of Hotel de Paris, the Salle Empire is a obligatory visit point during if you are staying in Monaco (or if you're just passing through). Even if you're getting a small cake and a glass of wine it is well worth stepping in, as the dishes they serve are real masterpieces of culinary art.

Avoid. It was the only place in Monaco that left a sour taste in our mouths courtesy of a member of the wait staff (snobby old man). Went in and attempted to order some desserts off their menu--he appeared insulted and scoffed “this is a restaurant and you may order that after you order food.” We're trying to order food off your menu, champ. Not digging the vibe. A lot of muttering under his breath as we decided to leave. If we can't order dessert, tell us politely--the aggravated attitude was unnecessary. Zero class. Man had the temperament of a petulant 5 year old. Salle Empire, or Cafe de Paris, whoever is running this joint, get rid of this guy.
