We stayed for 5 nights with emergency of the 10 month baby. First the baby was not admitted for first hour, they just pretended he was. But he was refered by pedeatritian who started calling and we had to fill entry forms again!!! After they forgot to order required antibiotic. After they refused to provide itemised bill to insurance. And for medical report I had to go from one department to another, after 4 iterations I was given a phone number to call to ask to get report. Windows in the rooms can not be opened. Food quality is simply awful. All together its a very outdated hospital. Nobody speaks english and the worst - nobody is responsible for anything, except their salary

Arrived at Pediatric emergency, registered at the counter, waited for 1,5 hours, went back to check and found that they didn’t register us, and we had to do it all over again. Eventually got hospitalised, because my 8 month old had E.colis and needed Meropenem. The very first night they SKIPPED ANTIBIOTICS because they DIDN’T ORDER ENOUGH. Now they all try to put a blame on each other and pretend that suddenly don’t speak English. What an incredible level of incompetence. Now they charge us 1K a day for not treating our child… Avoid this place and go to Lenval straight away!

As a Monaco resident, I should technically have priority, but it’s clear they don’t seem to care! I’ve broken my foot, and the person responsible for assessing the urgency of my case was dismissive, simply saying, “When a room is available, you’ll go.” I’ve been waiting in the hallway for four hours, watching others with minor symptoms being taken in ahead of me. The handling of emergencies in Monaco feels highly unprofessional, and the initial assessor’s attitude was unacceptable. 04/11/2024. 15:30- 19:30

They were great, especially the lady at the front desk. I wish I got her name (blonde curly hair, maybe around 60). We were nervous about going based on the reviews and we only speak english, but they were wonderful from start to finish. My husband was running a high fever 103-104 for over three days and was short winded on the 3rd day. We brought him to the ER here and the lady at the front desk spoke English and walked us through everything and helped with giving all our info to the Receptionist in French. The nurses were very kind and patient w my inability to speak French and they did thorough tests on him w blood work and chest xrays to make sure it wasn't his heart. After being in the waiting room for a long time, the front desk lady went and checked on my husband to give me an update (and I didn't even have to ask, but was wondering), so this gave me peace of mind what was happening when she came back with the update. Extremely nice of her!! My husband did get released with an infection and covid and the lady even offered to assist in us finding a ride back if we didn't have a car and also direction to get back to the parking garage (we had a car). I very rarely give reviews online, but feel they need to get some credit as too often people only post negative reviews. I would highly recommend this hospital as they truly are there to help you in a time of concern.

I am writing to share a disappointing experience we had at your hospital on December 25, 2023, at approximately 6:00PM. My 10-month-old son was unwell, and we sought emergency assistance. Unfortunately, our experience at the information desk was distressing. The two ladies on duty were remarkably rude, and neither showed any concern for my son's condition. Despite our residence in Beausoleil, they insisted that we were not allowed in Monaco and pushed us to go to Lenval Hospital in Nice, France. We were willing to pay for services and clarification about our residence in Beausoleil, the staff did not listen, pushing us towards Lenval Hospital, but our pleas were ignored. I kindly request that you review the CCTV footage to better understand the situation and address this matter promptly. I believe in the importance of providing quality healthcare with empathy, and I hope this feedback contributes to improving your services.

Excellent hospital in Monaco. Fast, polite and cheap! I stayed well there.

They're rude and poorly staffed. Some doctors want money under the table. No way of knowing what the bill will be before a procedure, despite messaging everywhere indicating this is against their charter. One star is probably too mean as there are undoubtedly some kind conscientious and helpful doctors nurses and hospital staff. But it's about 50%. Many seem angry and resentful. Lot of bad life-threatening diagnoses over the years that I know of. You get the feeling many doctors have never opened a journal since they left medical school. Staff and patients smoke everywhere outside, nobody could care less - it stinks. You squeeze past moving cars with no pavement to get to the entrance, I've been hit by a taxi wing mirror before . If it can wait till you get back home, let it wait. Healthwise they get a B or C grade. Service and friendliness a D or E grade. But don't complain or they will kick you out and not treat you.
