Well this was the biggest shock I’ve experienced. This perfect location looked the right right spot for a quick drink from the hot sun. On arrival told it was lunch food service only but we could sit at the side for cocktails. Went to the side and as we went to order our drinks (myself a cocktail and my partner a soft drink) we were told no it has to be two alcoholic cocktails and no soft drinks available. The tables around us were basically empty and there were children at said tables with families obviously not drinking alcohol. Rude staff and not impressed. Ruining reputation of the area.

I’m a recovering alcoholic and was told I had to leave unless I ordered alcohol. My partner was going to order a cocktail and I something non alcoholic but that wasn’t enough so told to leave.

This is the worst place I have ever been to in my whole life. RUDEST AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT GO HERE. My friend and me came because it was raining and we wanted to wait before the rain stops. The waitress told us that both of us have to get cocktails in order to sit here. I ordered a cocktail, but my friend never drinks and is allergic to alcohol and is underage so she asked for anything else. The waitress wanted to kick us out of the place if my friend wouldn’t order alcohol, but since it was raining we wanted to stay and my friend asked if we can talk to the manager because we don’t want to be paying 20 euros for something none of us will consume. The manager came and she was the most rude person I’ve ever met in my life. I told her that my friend can’t drink and she was screaming how she has to because it’s a cocktail bar. Kids were sitting with their parents next to us and we were asking how they don’t have to drink alcohol in order to sit here. She said that they ordered mocktails even though they evedently didn’t. Then we explained that these rules are absurd and are not legal and that customer discrimination is not allowed in hospitality, where she proceeded saying how she is the boss and works here 40 years and will call the police. We paid for two alcoholic drinks which my friend didn’t even touch and on the way out the manager said that next time we should go to McDonalds. I told her how I will write a realistic google review and she said how she doesn’t care so here I am :) I wish that some inspection comes here and looks over this place and customer service, because this place is really ruining the reputation of Monte Carlo !

Me and my friends came here for drinks, we waited for 30 mins before being served when other couple who arrived after got seen & served before us. I called one of the waitors over he saw me and decided to serve two males prior. Sexiest and snob vibes

Great place to eat some ice cream or grap a drink. They also have options for luch. It's a very cosy place with great view at the harbour. Staff is verry friendly and helpful. I recommend everyone to go here!

The pizza was okay, everything else we had (pasta, salads) was scam level in terms of price to quality. We are talking 20+ euros for a salad made from cheap supermarket ingredients, dressing included. Plus we asked for tap water beside our paid beverages and were denied this request. The view is nice I guess, but there are nicer places close by with fairer prices and better food.

Terrible experience. Avoid this place First, we wanted to sit in the front seats but we were refused because it’s prohibited to seat on these places with kids… Kids discrimination? Second, each person must make an order, but they don’t have soft drinks except ice tea.. no coffee or cola, no alcohol cocktails After this moment we just left Third, the waiters are not polite, they could show less discontent like “I will ask my boss for permission for you not to make an order”

Sat down - after 15 minutes we went and collected our own menus as we were ignored. 10 minute wait for someone to take our order and we were told you have to food and drinks - you can't just order drinks. Awful place, awful manners.

When we arrived on a weekday, the place was pretty empty. So we sat down at a table in the middle of the restaurant. The waitress came and handed us the menu and drinks list. As we weren't hungry, we only ordered 2 beers. “If you don't eat, you can't sit here” was the strict instruction and the waitress directed us to a bar table at the edge of the restaurant. Other guests were also sitting there with their beers. We were no longer noticed here and when we asked the waitress for our 2 beers after a long time, she told us that only cocktails and ice cream were served here. When we referred to the beers of the neighboring guests, the arrogant boss intervened and told us that beer is only served when the place is empty, now it's full. However, we didn't notice any of this, as there were still only a few tables occupied. We left this inhospitable place and went straight to the next of the numerous pubs on the harbor promenade. It was a good decision because not only were we served politely there: the prices were also far less inflated than at Pattaya

Not friendly, music to loud and awful music. Should be easy listening music. plate was chipped, asked for extra milk never arrived then girl came and took my husbands plate away while I was still eating. Anyone in hospitality knows this is big thing you don't do. Then never came back for mine. Never got checked on or asked if would like sweet menu or other drinks. Then had to go and asked for bill. Unapproachable what looked like the owners. Very disappointing for it's location. This is all basic customer service.

Great location with great views a little disappointing, we ordered savoury crepes they were just ok. Nicoise salad didn't have any dressing. Didn't taste fresh... Mocktails were nice...

The perfect example of having the best place in the area and the worst service. I was feeling me invisible, the waitress was looking on our direction and didn’t saw us calling her. She was like on a slow motion!!! The table was very dirty and when I asked her to clean, she just made it worse! THE WORST PLACE IN MY WHOLE TRIP AROUND THE EUROPE!!!!!

Ruined my Monaco experience. Located in a prime position next to the harbour, it probably has an endless supply of new customers. My sandwich had way too much cheese, and the tomatoes were tasteless. We complained about the salad and paid the bill, writing it off as a bad tourist experience. Then the manager came over to angrily tell us we were wrong and mistaken. I noted that restaurants should understand any criticism and not respond with anger. Looking up the rating, I see that many others have the same experience. So unnecessary and sad that it impacted an otherwise pleasant vacation.

DO NOT EAT HERE! We came for lunch and thought it would be nice beside the water. I am not sure about the drinks as we only ordered still water. No tap water option available. We ordered a pizza as we had seen another table order and it looked half decent. But it wasn't full of toppings like picture. Waitress said it had mushroom, ham, olives but it had 2 pcs of mushroom and mainly cheese. We ordered nicoise salad. It had canned green beans, canned corn, canned tuna, some lettuce and tomatoes. It was really bad and they had the audacity to charge I think E29. I ordered the ratatouille omelette. It had 5 pcs of hard eggplant topped by this lumpy egg. The whole thing was soggy and tasteless. Total bill was over E60 and we hv never had worse food. The waitresses were so slow and just operated like they didn't want to be there. Save your money and walk 5 more minutes to end of the Port and go somewhere else. If that was the owner sitting near the counter, he should be ashamed of himself.

Like others have experienced the management here is terrible and the rule is you order food or a cocktail or ice cream or GTFO. 3 of 4 of us wanted a drink but we were told everyone had to order something. I tried to order a carafe of water but was told it's bottles only. They also refused to serve a small beer, it was large only. The cocktails were very average but apparently the ice cream was good. I don't recommend this place due to the aggressive sales tactics and high prices. They're charging a premium for the location and not delivering on the service.

Beautiful location just by the Harbour. The food is decent for a lunch, with a lot of different options. Not the best pizza in the world but ok. Service was good though and we got the food quick, perhaps because we were the first ones in.

If I could give zero stars. Iv never been spoken to so rudely. We wanted cocktails and finger food. They Tried to offer alcohol to children. And said everyone needs to drink not sit for free. When confronted about the attitude the manager asked us to leave. Disgusting customer service. Racist and there was not a language barrier, it was plain nasty.

Great location with beautiful views of the harbor in Monaco. The drinks were beautiful as well but the taste was disappointing for all three drinks we all tried. Also, there was only one waiter, so it took a long time take our orders and even longer to get served. So much potential here, I hope they figure it out

They refused service to us, we were too many they said (two families, 10 people total). Then another person from the restaurant said that they were fully booked. The restaurant was empty with plenty of seats available.

Great setting overlooking the the great many large Yachts in the harder with excellent service and simple food menu. This is certainly the place to be for those who love their beautifully presented cocktails.

Pizza "Summer" was almost perfect, the Crepes was perfect. The Service-Guy was one of the best, really friendly. Location is almost perfect, but super beautiful, really! I was really confused while asking the owner for a toothstick, he answered "no we dont have a toothstick for you" like I'm not worth it. Anyways, the price is nice, even for lower budgets. So thanks to this experience

The worst cuisine in France. We asked for fresh orange juice but they bring us concentrate! Awful sea fruits salad, just marinated trash for 20€. Asked for bread - no bread. Hate it.
