To close the season, Jean-Christophe Maillot has invited choreographer Lukáš Timulak and the Kor’sia Company to create two original works for the Ballets de Monte-Carlo. These rising stars of contemporary dance are bringing fresh perspectives that continue to captivate companies around the world.
Lukáš Timulak, a former dancer with Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo and a graduate of the Académie Princesse Grace, has collaborated with designer Peter Bilak for over two decades. Together, they explore the organizing principles of nature and the relationship between chaos and order. Their new piece for the Ballets de Monte-Carlo delves into natural phenomena, creating a unique site-specific experience that evolves with each performance.
The Kor’sia Company, known for their visually striking work, has continued to surprise audiences with their innovative creations. Antonio de Rosa and Mattia Russo, the creative minds behind Kor’sia, emphasize the power of visual and scenic elements, making their Madrid-based company one of the most dynamic on the contemporary dance scene.

ACADEMY GALA
The Gala of the Princess Grace Academy is a special occasion where the prestigious dance school, closely tied to the Ballets de Monte-Carlo, showcases its talents to the public. Audiences will witness a high-level dance education that spans a wide range of styles, from classical to contemporary. This event is a significant milestone for the young dancers and their teachers. Newcomers will take the stage at the Salle Garnier for the first time, while eight graduating dancers will take their final bows before joining international companies. This year, the focus is on creation, with four artists—Goyo Montero, Francesco Nappa, Julien Guérin, and Michel Rahn—invited to create works for the students.
