We went there last night since we stayed at the Fairmont. It was quite disappointing to be honest and I have been to many Nobus around the world. The toro tataki and the spicy soup were excellent but the sashimi salad was over-seasoned. And then we waited a long time for our main courses. The octopus was the worst dish I had because it was so tough and chewy that my mouth felt sore after. And the Chilean sea bass? I didn’t get to taste because the kitchen forgot to cook and after 30min of wait my jetlag really kicked in so I left unsatisfied and disappointed.

Having visited a few times, I can say the food has improved after their recent renovation. Of course I have to recommend the Miso black cod, tastes like heaven truly. Their regular maki and uramaki rolls are nothing special, but not bad either. Dessert menu is definitely worth a try! I do enjoy the pleasant service, the waiters ask if the courses are coming out at a pace that is good for you (nice touch!)

I’ve been to many Nobu’s in the world but truly, this one is special. For me, this is the best Nobu I have been to. Each staff member has bought into the Nobu service culture and they are SO friendly and good at their job. We never had to wait excessively, they were quick and polite and very accommodating. The food was absolutely perfect, the best black cod we have ever eaten that’s for sure! If you come to Monaco, make sure to go, you won’t regret it.

Not as the other Nobu chains. Lacks quality and it is obvious they rely exclusively on the reputation in other countries. We came for the dinner and we booked a night before as we were sponatneous. In MC you usually book everything days in advance but here we managed to get a table just one night before. I see why. It was full, but we got the table outside, the girls - hostesses were amazing though. Waiters were lovely as well. Cocktails, even the signature ones dissapointed us heavily, felt like drinking cheap alcohol with syrup and the food was no better. Miso soup was bad. Edamame was dry and bad, steak dry and overpriced. I had a salad so I was ok, but my boyfriend was so dissapointed. We left after 1h as we didn’t want to leave any more money here, not worth it.

I really wanted to like it, I eat a lot of Japanese food and really enjoy the cuisine. However all the food here lacks flavor. You would think that the word "umami" is taken seriously at a Japanese restaurant, but alas it lacks it. The sushi tasted like typical grocery store fish. The food was simply too salty, and every dish tastes the same. And this is coming from someone that loves his sodium. Regardless of price, the food was not good. I wouldn't pay $20 for this meal let alone the $200 I spent. If you like real sushi, take your $200 else where. If you like cheap sushi, go to a cheap sushi place, because it will taste the same as Nobu.

Ordered the A5 wagyu tartar and Omakase. It's worth every penny. The staff were very friendly. The view is soo greattt! There's a valet parking in the lobby. Definitely come back for another visit! Price is relatively reasonable for a hotel restaurant! Must try!

All you have heard about NOBU, you can only see it is true, if you experience it. And the one in Monte Carlo does indeed present you with an understanding of what NOBU is. Food comes right in time, as a restaurant at this level must deliver. I was able to face the kitchen and there a sentiment of discipline on how those guys work. Service was on another level. The team member that took care of us, was beyond good. He was great! And I could see him around the other tables. We had the crispy rice with spicy salmon, rock shrimp tempura with three sauces, Chilean sea bass with miso wasabi sauce and seafood ceviche. Quite hard to choose out from their great menu, but all we got was beyond delicious.

Worst food I knew Nobu from other country’s. I wanted to try something new, so i ordered i think it was Fish and Chips. I was so disappointed. The fries were terrible. The weird vegetables (fried) were also soo disgusting, i was so disappointed. The service was Standart and the chocolate Tacos were great. At least. My colleague also thought his food was very average. We were there last April. I hope the dish from the second photo is not on the card anymore. It really tasted extremely bad (worse, like nothing) it was only eatable with a lot of salt sprinkle’s. Nothing was worth the money. I really want to give Nobu in Monaco a try next time i‘ll be there, and order something more asian.

A marriage of two aristocrats (Nobu & The Fairmont Hotel) should've produced an epic of Greek proportions, yet somehow the outcome is far less stellar. The views are amazing but that's expected as the property is practically in the Mediterranean. When Nobu is not being Nobu at dinner, it's where breakfast is served for hotel guests and that doesn't live up to the billing. While an embarrassment of riches in terms of what ot offers, quality is lacking all around (good smoked salmon but the scrambled eggs could use a makeover), the supplies are not replenished fast enough and the service comes with a solid dose of French attitude. Like many other restaurants in the famed principality, a great place for one percent watching, the food is more like a side dish.

From the wooden chopsticks they give you which are the same as any cheap Asian take out, to the dirty restrooms, and the rude staff, this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Went there with a friend for a Vivanova event which included cocktails then a dinner, and we found it weird/uncomfortable that being heavily pregnant (8 months) they would sit us at the bar’s high stools instead of clearing out tables from others that have left. Then it came time for dinner, and it was nice that the chef came out to present himself (granted we were a private group of 16 people so it’s normal), but as people started leaving after the 5th and 6th dish of our tasting menu, we decided to leave too because we were quite tired and had had enough. We still don’t understand why we were the only ones that were stopped by the waiter asking about payment when at least 5 people left before us and there were a lot of others still at the table. Upon leaving, 3 large security guards wouldn’t let us leave and acted very aggressive towards us and seemed incredibly annoyed that they now had to do their jobs and find where the event organizer was since he was taking care of the bill, which wasn’t hard to find as he was always on site and looked very much like the organizer talking to everyone, guests and staff! (Don’t they prepare the staff in advance when large groups come in and tell them all this beforehand?) At the end they didn’t even apologize, simply huffed and puffed that we were right. The food was pretty good though, and they respected my dietary restrictions which is why it’s getting 2 stars instead of just one.

Nobu never fails to impress. Whether in London, Marbella or Monte-Carlo, quality and perfection is always here. Some regular specialities are a must, but no matter the dish, you will always find the finest quality of fish and meats, handmade with the highest standards of chef Nobu Matsuhisa. The Nobu Monte Carlo is a great place for dinner, and if you’re lucky enough, you’ll have a fantastic view of fireworks from the neighboring towns. Service is great and friendly waiters don’t hesitate to recommend their personal taste dishes. Service: 10/10 Food Quality: 9/10 Value for Money: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Recommended dish: Crispy Rice Salmon & Tuna Tartare, Black Cod, and without any doubt the Molten Chocolate Cake for desert.

This place is one of the best I’ve ever eaten Asian food: we ordered the Omakase Menu and that was an amazing choice!!! All and each one of the dishes, as they were being served, were perfectly explained by the waiters, in french, English and Italian, which for us was very important. When I saw the omakase price cheaper than a mid end Singapore restaurant, at Nobu Monte Carlo, I thought it was a bargain. It was not. Food was OK. Very harsh. Undelicate. Very Las Vegas. Worth the money? I don't know but if it were just for the food quality, it was not. My waiter was a very very nice man who spoke nicely to me even when I was in jeans and converse sneakers Ahahahahaha Just to underline the atmosphere, you had diners dress very well who had no fixed budgets but they gave you a pair of bamboo disposable chopsticks to eat with. It's conflicted. Like Monaco, like Las Vegas.

Nice atmosphere and great service. However, I was disappointed with the quality of food. This particular chain is below standard compared to others in London and Dubai. The prices are way over too. Other than that, the staff are very friendly.
