Visited the place for the first time last June, only to see a sign stating that they were out of town, with a return date. Returned in July during their posted business hours, only to be told they were closed (Politely, although there was no visible indication they were closed). They instructed me to always call before visiting, but nowhere in their website does it indicate that requirement. I strongly suggest they make that requirement visible and/or prominent on their website, as it only states their business hours (And auction info). My interest were simple: Learn more about the hobby (As I've been out of it for years), my current collection, and of course, purchase stamps and other merchandise. I also liked the fact that it is close to my home. Not a promising start.

Disorganized mess of a shop that uses Liquid drops for precious metal testing. I knew one of my coins was over an ounce of solid 24k gold. He offered $1200 for my entire set, after making a mess of my pieces. He told me that one coin was 18k gold to base his lowball offer. IMO he either doesn’t know what he’s doing or he does and is ripping people off. I left his store and sold that single coin for 3 times what he offered for the whole set. That one coin, tested by a seasoned and educated dealer, was actually 99.8 pure gold and 1.05 oz. Do not trust this dealers opinion or prices.

We visited the museum when Google said it was open. However, the guard at the front door said that the museum had been closed for at least three weeks for renovations. He had no idea when it would be open again. I'm not sure whether it was Google or the museum staff that dropped the ball but it was definitely a disappointment.

In these last 3 years I was ready in the 'queue-fair' waiting list for 2-3 hours to buy an euro coin. For 3 years in a row (10 minutes ago the 3rd time happened), it refreshes/reload when it's 10'o'clock. This time it sayed "the queue is now closed, all coins are sold out"...? Within 0,01 second? After refreshing it for 5 minutes I am now no. 9500 in the queue... problaby missing buying an euro coin AGAIN.. Selling these coins is a wonderful "cash cow" for this museum I bet.. so it probably doesn't care about the quality of services like this queue-fair partner which has the worst service ever.

A wonderful little museum telling the history of Monaco's postage stamp and coin development through its Monegasque stamp and coin collection. If you pay attention to the details, you can even follow the country's history itself. A pity (or perhaps a blessing) it is rarely visited; there were only three visitors at the time, me included. I guess those reviews from annoyed online shoppers are not really helping, but they are completely irrelevant to the actual museum.

A wonderfully quiet sanctuary for the philatelic numismatist. Very cheap entry and no crowds

Very interesting museum. You can trace the entire history of the Principality and its values through its stamps and coinage. Friendly staff. Admission is only €3, and when I paid with a €5 bill, I received change in the form of a €2 Monaco coin. Highly recommended for stamp and coin enthusiasts.

07.09 From 10:00 the 2022 commerative €2 coin was for sale, but like every year there was an online waiting list, I opened the site at 07:00 and had it on for the whole time. At 10:00 I was placed in the waiting list and there were somewhere around 10.000 people before me..... At 13:00 it was finally my turn to buy the coin, I then reached the site and it said that the coin was "épuisé"....... Can someone please explain to me how 15.000 coins were sold when there were only 10.000 people before me??? Baddest service ever and each year the same terrible experience.....
