Wonderful!!!
The restaurant has an elegant, warm and welcoming decor, definitely one of the best in Munich. The menu offers delicious British cuisine. The absolute best dessert and one of the best I have ever eaten is the crumble, an absolute delight! Unfortunately with the warmer season they take it off. I hope the chef can change his mind and maybe serve it with a scoop of ice cream as I tasted it last time under a really brilliant idea of Antonio, meters of incredible elegance and kindness. With him the evening is definitely more pleasant. On Friday live music. Not only I recommend it, for those who have not been there is a destination not to be missed!

Very nice restaurant .. elegant .. large .. modern decor .. with a space also for musicians who accompany lunch or dinner .. cute!.
I took 4 appetizers .. nice presentation but nothing much in the mouth .. discreet salmon .. a little less the others .. small portions (especially given the prices!)
Fish and chips .. discreet .. I ate better! club sandwich too loaded with bread .. to forget! ... the Indian dish was a little better .. but nothing more ..

Strange thing is that Monaco - despite the superficial slickness (some might call it tasteless vulgarity) - is replete with mediocre to bad restaurants.
Marlow's positive points :
1. Fairly sophisticated Anglo environment, caricature of an English gentleman's club.
2. Absolutely delicious bread.
3. Super enthusiastic and pleasant Senegalese origin waitress.
4. OK cocktails
Marlow's negative points :
1. Fish & Chips - in our opinion barely edible. Too much batter, overfried and bland. We were unable to eat most of the dish
2. Scotch egg - ditto
3. Overpriced
4. Hardly anyone there - 2 other tables occupied.
Basically you'll get a better meal in an average London chippy or pub. Relatively new, so hopefully they'll get their act together...

The eggs we're good. The coffee was delicious. The orange juice was fresh. The salad was sent back. The lettuce was old. The leaves were brown and transparent in spots. Then, the beef was over cooked and tough as jerky. The bread was burnt as well as the vegetables. The dessert was good (very large)! I had to ask the waiter to take the salad off the bill. Overall it was disappointing experience!

No service at all
Terrible service. Made a reservation for afternoon tea at 15:30h. We arrived well in time but were asked to wait outside for a few minutes while our table was being prepared. We ordered a drink already on the terrace while waiting. 45 minutes later our table was still not ready although several people without reservation were given a table inside. When we informed about our table we were asked to wait another 10 minutes which we refused ofcourse. When we left we did not get any excuses or whatsoever. Seems like customer service is not very high in their priority list.

The food lived up to expectations although the menu, in my opinion, should be revised a bit. The place is gorgeous. The decor is very nice and classy. Unfortunately, however, in the venue, despite the live music, there is no engaging atmosphere. The staff appears listless and uninterested in adequately serving customers despite the restaurant often being virtually empty. I would return only after a decisive change of pace that is absolutely necessary.
The three score points are a mix of cuisine (4/5) and service/atmosphere (1/2)

Really cool and charming place to have lunch or a drink.. especially during Monaco Yacht Show.. away from the crowds.. fab British style on the French Riviera side, Totally recommended spot on your map! PS No dinner before 7 folks :) but a brunch will do fine with your favourite glass of Champagne.. Cheers!

Afternoon tea in Monaco
I think that Marlow will become a good addition to the newer restaurants in Monaco. It’s very conveniently placed in the newly constructed area by the sea and has a varied menu for different times of the day.
We chose to have the afternoon tea as it felt like the fun option. There were very few other customers in there so there was arguably a lack of atmosphere, but we were able to choose whatever table we liked.
The scones were absolutely delicious. Still warm and served with jam and cream. The small selection of cakes were also really nice. The only downside were the sandwiches. Very disappointing, very ordinary. In one, there was an overwhelming taste of salad cream. I know that this restaurant is based on an English concept but I can assure them that most people would expect mayonnaise.
Overall, it was nice and certainly a very reasonable price. Maybe they could increase the cost and improve the sandwiches.

An exceptional experience at Marlow Restaurant!
Everything was perfect from start to finish: the Warm Welcoming, the Attentive Service and the dishes as beautiful as they are delicious. The Mood of the place is both elegant and friendly, ideal to spend a great time with friends or colleagues
Special mention to Rui, whose professionalism, kindness and wise advice really made the difference. Thanks to him, our evening was even more pleasant!
I highly recommend the Marlow — a true culinary nugget to which we can’t wait to return.

Was so looking forward to visiting the restaurant on Easter Monday . The food was average and did not taste fresh . The starter of crab was inedible. The staff did not question why it was not eaten . Extremely mediocre in every aspect

After our not brilliant experience in January 2025, we return today to this nice restaurant and find that the problems, perhaps start-ups, that we had noticed have been solved and we had a pleasant and satisfying lunch. Just as a few days ago we enjoyed a great tea time. Well done.

Supposed to be a great place, but the service was very poor! I had been recommended this place by many people, but when I finally stopped by for a quick visit, I was faced with completely unpleasant service that made me question whether I’d ever return. A waiter dropped a glass bottle of water right in front of me—on my table and didn’t even apologize! I was left sitting there surrounded by broken glass and water splashed all over the table and floor. Not a single “sorry” from anyone. What made it worse was that the waiters—and possibly the manager or someone in charge—were laughing, as if it was all a big joke. This happened in the late morning, and it felt incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. I was advised to switch tables, which I obviously did, but that was the end of it. No one offered any further help or proper acknowledgment of the situation, which led me to the conclusion that perhaps it’s normal for this place. It was a horrible experience that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Don’t ruin your day—just avoid this place. It’s not worth it! P.S. The coffee was good. Otherwise, it would’ve been a total disaster.

We decided to take our friends to Marlow on their first night with us and the restaurant did Monaco proud. We had a very professional welcome when we arrived in the lovely warm and tastefully decorated restaurant. Then our ABSOLUTELY outstanding waitress , Patricia, arrived and the evening went from good to even better. Patrica wasn’t only dealing with us but a family with young children and another table and none of us felt that she had forgotten us . My husband and one of our guests decided to share the Beef Wellington which was brought out to them for inspection and then expertly carved to to show it’s perfectly cooked beef inside! I chose the fish and chips with mushy peas and was presented with a very generous helping whilst my friend had an also very generous Caesar salad. Thank you to all at Marlow for a really lovely evening .

The restaurant enjoys a perfect location, but the food we ordered was poor, The Caesar salad consisted of a large bowl of lettuce, with a very small, sliced breaded chicken cutlet with 3 pieces of bacon fat and a soft cold poached egg on top … weird combination & not particularly enjoyable. Menu was odd, it claims to be British but apart from the beef wellington for 2 people it wasn’t like any British restaurant menu I’ve seen before. Service was haphazard, more training is needed - starters were poor also but the coffee was good. The restaurant is not open long but I guess the place can only improve.

This was our first time in Monte Carlo and we stumbled across Marlow for afternoon tea. Wow, cannot recommend highly enough. The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. I had the most incredible Caesar salad – the seasoning was spot on, bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a few drinks and dishes, and I genuinely felt welcomed and well taken care of by the staff. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cozy charm. Every team member was friendly and attentive, consistently checking in to ensure we were having a great experience. They also do Afternoon tea, Sunday roast, English breakfast.. AMAZING. I discover Marlow 3 days ago with my husband, we was looking for a place to having aperó during lunch time. We sit at the bar and the bartender (Greek or Italian) he entretien us in very nice and professional way. We try 2 signature cocktails. The BLUE VESPER a the C&C negroni. My blue cheese martini vas very crazy and amazing . My husband really enjoyed also de negroni. 10 stars 🌟. Next time we will try the kitchen .

Spoiled Birthday. Came to celebrate a birthday with a friend. Expectations were high: new restaurant, great location…. When we booked the table, we said that we would celebrate Birthday. We were seated at a table, the menu was brought right away, then the hunt began for the waiters to bring us a wine list, it took 15 minutes, we waited another 15 minutes for the drinks to be brought out to us. An half of hour at an empty table. By the way, we arrived early and the restaurant was empty, the only thing the staff did was generate a bustle. The waiter's service was unacceptable and superficial; we were refilled with champagne from the bottle exclusively and only after we asked. Our waiter was constantly hiding and avoiding our table. Empty dirty plates stood on the table all evening until we asked to remove them. And the highlight of the evening was that the waiter was asked to bring out a birhday cake with a candle at the end of dinner, we reminded him of this, but he didn’t bring. We paid and left. By the way, the waiter took the bill with payment instantly - without any delays. Bravo 👌 A good example of how to created a great restaurant, but killed its reputation with employees who do not respect guests.
