To flee, do not be attracted by this catch tourists! They push you to the consumption of disastrous drinks (beer) so called local beer, but serves you a hideous beer Lasagne dry and catastrophic, total absence of meat as well as béchamel, bland, you might as well go to the supermarket to eat! Salmon legs without salmon, we are still looking for it! Even the bread is stale... rude and hurried staff despite the absence of customers in the restaurant! I definitely advise against it!

Had a lovely little lunch at this beautiful spot. So many other restaurants were crowded and this one had a lot if open seating outside and many options for food. Service was really nice! The salad, chévre chaud was phenomenal.

Went away with my siblings. Other guests had their children with them, it seemed there was plenty of room for them. The waitress knew English and was service memory. The food came pretty fast. Have gone better Moules mariniéres in France, they seemed a little to the cool/dry side. Liquid. The bottom didn’t taste much, so I didn’t eat it.

Close to the Princely Palace, very basic furniture, the meals were tiny and therefore too expensive. But on top of that: two cokes for in total €18 we're leaving us speechless. Will never come back here.

You get really ripped off here. We ordered a beer and a Coke and were supposed to pay 22€. After I complained, the price was lowered to 17€. My wife didn't want me to keep complaining. We paid the inflated price and left.

A pleasant patio with awning and tree shade attracted us. Located alongside the Monaco Cathedral, it is well situated for those passing by like ourselves. The food was tasty, the drinks expensive. We were amazed at how quickly meals were served on this weekday lunch- the premises remained full, and even a larger party was quickly attended and food served. But as a negative, the waiter will pressure tourists for a tip, claiming his services were not covered on the bill. We know this is not the case, but he was insistent- three times- that we were lacking a tip. We did not want to have an argument, so in this he was successful, but to the damage of the restaurant reputation.

We present ourselves to the waiter who places us on a table outside. Barely a minute later 2 people who seem to be the boss couple chase us screaming at each other in Italian. The table would be reserved when nothing indicated, we were placed there! Not even a "hello," not even a "sorry." We were so surprised that we did not react and we left settled inside when after this welcome we should have left. In short the Nice salad bof bof, an anchovy and some ingredients on the plate. Bad memory of that day!

Waiters not very nice, they clear the plates when not everyone has finished eating. The drinks are served in glasses not can (we don’t even know if it’s real Coke). Mussels are good, but many are undercooked so sickening enough. Pizza and pasta are good and well served.

I just loved everything about this place. The food was great, the atmosphere was that summer dine-in patio in the middle of an old city vibe. We had the carbonara, pesto and the steak and we were all happy with what we were served. The portions were big as well. It was totally worth the price.

Perfect place to eat. Plenty of choices from pasta to pizza. There is a child’s menu as well. Lovely staff and quick service. This lovely restaurant is close to the aquarium and Palace down the back streets. Busy street with lots of interesting little shops and tourist shops.

The waiter was not amused that we just had drinks. The prices are incredibly high. He just said 19€ for a coke, a water and a cappuccino. We said twice that we want to see the receipt to check, but on the invoice were no details or our drinks printed.

The pizza was very good in my opinion i also ordered fries. The food was okay priced for Monaco but the drinks were very expensive (which is normal here so no minus points for that haha) We paid a 100 euros exactly for 4 people so tbh nothing to be mad about when everything was good The service was very nice i was even able to order in my native language (german)

Don’t be fooled by the rating! We literately skipped the place because of the rating but everything was closing in the area, so we had to give it a try. And we LOVED IT! Pizza was really yum, service was nice, I definitely recommend it!

We had a delightful experience which was made by the service. Our waiter was funny, accommodating and really made our day. We both had pizza for mains which were nice but nothing special. For dessert we had profiteroles and a tiramisu which were excellent, the chocolate sauce was the die for. I would recommend this place to anyone

Overpriced for poor quality of food. Drinks prices are not listed - you will get a shock when the bill arrives. Waiter quite aggressively asked us how much we wanted to add to our bill for service; he kept repeating that service was not included. Avoid.

Had a goat cheese salad (16 euros). It was fine & minimal, nothing too special. The leafy greens were good and the cheese tasted good. They put the cheese on cut baguette 🥖, so nothing fancy. When I received the check, the server volunteered telling me that service is not included, while in Monaco I believe it should be. I don’t find this a good practice at all to be dishonest with clients!

The waiter presented us the menu of the day, which contained black Angus steak. We ordered three of these and we got fried minced meat with sauce on top. It tasted like sausages. Also drinks are very expensive, 10€ for a glass of wine.

A very family friendly restaurant. A great place for lunch after a long walking day either with good friends or family. We had a really good lunch here on the terrace. We were 4. There were many choices to choose from the menu. Food was freshly made and delicious as well as desserts. Service was superb; the waiter was very nice and kind. The price was reasonable. We were very satisfied. I would like to come back here again so yeah recommended! 👍👍

Serendipity, it was. I originally booked for another restaurant in the old town but they forced us to order one pizza per one person - other menus were not available. My colleague found another place and told me we should move and we found I’Estragon. Located in a relatively large passage way, tables are scattered and it was just perfect. Service was very friendly and prompt. For a starter, we ordered seafood salad, chicken nuggets (for our ice-cold beer.) For main menu, we ordered seafood linguine, Margherita pizza, grilled sea bream. The grilled fish was shown before the waiters took care of fish thorns carefully. Food was tasty and service was superb. The waiter even asked us whether he should get us a cab while we were discussing how we should go back to the convention center. Our waiter Andrea was very helpful and kind. We owed a big favor to him. You could enjoy great views before or after a meal here. Royal palace is around and great photo spots are nearby (both in front and back.) I’ll definitely go back to I’Estragon when I return to Monte-Carlo. Highly recommended.

There is no way to relate to you the magic that happened in my mouth when I had the foi gras. I seriously was stunned. The rest of my family loved there food but I was the only one having a "When Harry met Sally" moment. Staff told us it was locally made and where to find it. Somehow my hubs didn't think tracking them down was worth missing the boat. Prices were more than reasonable for this beautiful town.

Very good food and service. Prices were commensurate with the amount and quality of food. The spicy olive oil was exactly that, living up its name. Wine served by the bottle- .5liter and liter. Daily specials add to the complexity of the Italian style menu. No views of the beautiful sites, but it is well worth it regardless. Sitting outside offers a shaded and breezy meal well worth eating. Only down was the bathrooms, but not enough to not visit.

Haha 😆! It’s a tourist place. The local beer (0.5l) is €8.50 and the quality of the food is average. BUT the waiters are very friendly and are always communicating in French-Italian-English at the same time. Stay away from the Cesar‘s salad.
