I visited L'Epi D'Or and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. While I wasn’t a big fan of the espresso, I absolutely loved the other products they offered. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The friendly staff added to the charm, making it a place I’d recommend visiting.

Lovely spot and friendly staff. I do not speak much Fench, but asked if they speak Italian, English or German. Unfortunately it was a no. We got there in the end with my order. Coffee is great and not burned. Cakes and sandwiches are outstanding.

A small and cozy boulangerie with delicious desserts, so much choice. Their baguette was also fresh and delicious, local people buy also hier the baguette. Friendly staff. You can pay with credit card above 6€.

Nice little cafe next to long stairs up to the palace. Naturally, stupid expensive...9E for coffee/cookie. But this is Monaco. Money is oxygen here. But the coffee is very good (served separate steaming milk, nice touch!), sweets were divine, served elegantly. Indeed service is friendly, smiling and well done but a bit aloof. But not a problem. Tables/chairs, seating excellent (nothing outside), WC is fantastic, clean, hot water, well lit.

We encountered difficulties with obtaining the Wi-Fi password as they seemed to have trouble understanding English. Even when we placed an order in French, asking for a 'café au lait,' we received 'café au eau' instead. The staff exhibited unwelcoming attitudes, and the overall organization of the establishment appeared to be lacking.

I eat here nearly every day. Everything in this place tastes like heaven, the patisserie/boulangerie of your dreams. However, whenever this older lady (who I assume is one of the owners) installs herself at the cashier, a black cloud steals the friendly aura of the team and everyone shuts off, due to her constant harassment and rudeness. I saw her many times being rough to customers and employees alike, zero social skills. As subtlety is clearly not her speciality, maybe it would be better for everyone if she stays away from customer service.

We stopped to taste a croissant and after a short time we returned for another croissant and a pain ou chocolat with a cappuccino. Friendly vibe and staff and a very clean location. One of the best croissants I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this place.

We popped into this boulangerie for petit déjeuner on two occasions. There is limited seating inside (approx 6-7 tables with two seats per table). Each time dined, we were able to find a seat because the majority of customers were take-away (and at times the queue went out the door). The staff were very helpful, and helped me as I stumbled through my basic French; they encouraged me and even assisted with phrases (possibly even showing some appreciation for my attempts). The croissants and tarts and eclare and the sandwiches were all delicious. They also serve hot drinks such as lattes and black tea. We felt no rush to finish our meal, and often enjoyed people watching and listening to the conversations between the staff and regular customers. Highly recommend.

The bakery looked nice and clean. Desserts look amazing but unfortunately they don’t expect card payements so was not able to buy anything. **Correction, they do take care payments apparently but only with orders over 6€**

Great place, perfect desserts, and a great atmosphere inside. I tear off one the star for the English barrier again. The saleswomen pretend that they do not understand, but at the same time they respond to your request in English. That doesn't change the fact that the desserts here were great. For me, I can recommend the local marzipan, especially the cake covered with marzipan, resembling a pig. If you have time and opportunity, definitely visit this place. There are also boxes of chocolates and cookies for purchase. I can only recommend this place.

A nice bakery / cafe with friendly staff. The place is kept well decorated and the food areas as well as the seating area are kept clean. Constantly wiping the tables and clearing up etc. The staff are better than a lot of French bakery staff in that they appear friendly as well as helpful to English only speaking tourists. The food is pretty decent and is great value for money considering the area that it is in. A good place to get a quick bite without breaking the bank.
