We really enjoyed eating here. Food was excellent and reasonably priced (other than the $10 soft drinks but it is Monaco). Saves you €20 a head on the casino entry. Very good service, nice table & overall, a lot better than we expected.

Gnocchi starter is excellent- possibly the best I've had. I'd return for that dish alone. Mediocre mains: Beef (poor cut) and veal (tender but dull sides). Surprising given the gnocchi. Strong cocktails. Staff were completely detached and it was tedious getting their attention.

It is inside the casino, you have to pay entrance, although it is discounted on the account, or you can use the ticket to play at the casino! Regarding the food, good presentation, the food was good, and the atmosphere pleasant, I do not consider a “must go” but it was a good experience!

A great way to avoid the €19 entrance fee to the casino is to eat at the restaurant (must book). Plate of pasta was €20 so really felt like we got a great deal. I had the pasta speciality from Nice with butter and sage, it was great. However my partner had the bolognese and it was pretty average. Complimentary bread. Staff were hit and miss, one of the young waiters was very kind and thoughtful but the older waiter was grumpy and rude. The setting is within the casino so it’s a beautiful atmosphere surrounded by paintings, high ceilings and a historic venue.

Had my 2025 New Year's Eve celebration and this restaurant never disappoint since my 12th visit. Food is always well done, the balcony has the best view for the amazing new year fireworks

Very positive experience. Among the two restaurants inside the casino is the one with the most affordable prices. It does not enjoy the view of the square but a large indoor room next to the game tables. Finely decorated room. Waiters ready and kind speaking Italian. Ask to have the wifi key put directly by them to surf for free (maybe give them a small tip for the service). Small trick: by booking on the spot for dinner you will skip the obligation to pay the entrance bugle to the casino (€15 each); you will only be asked for your ID card for a check. At the exit of the restaurant you can stop at the game tables or have a drink at the bar. The dinner itself was pleasant, with a background music, local not too crowded and not too noisy, pairs of tables of two in intimate niches embellished with mother-of-pearl stucco. A one-liter bottle of water costs 10€ as much as a glass of wine... take advice from the waiter. The dishes are decent in taste and portions. As a great lover (and admirer-eater) of Italian cuisine (but also worldwide) I would have expected more marked tastes in the dishes tasted. However discreet although I would not return. For the New Year there is then an animated dinner including champagne toast but I prefer to spend it outside admiring the fantastic fireworks.

Our lunch today was fantastic - beautiful surroundings, deli food and great service, what more could you ask for! We thought it was reasonably priced as well. We would definitely return if we ever had the chance to visit Monaco.

Salon Rose is off the main casino floor and serves great food. One nice plus of going there is that you get into the casino for free (the casino charges 16 euro a person to go into the casino rooms). Steak tartar was excellent and main course we had the sea bass and octopus. Well worth a stop here while visiting Monte Carlo.

We had a wonderful experience at Salon Rose. If you book a dinner here, you can have free entrance into the casino which makes this even more worth it. We had really lovely steak and lamb chops. The service was brilliant too. We would come here again next time we are in Monaco!

Le Salon gifted me with food poisoning from their "Classique" Langouste roll. Hotel called to discuss with manager and he said I should travel back to Monaco to discuss in person. This restaurant is a glitzy tourist trap, and I should have known better.

I would not recommend Le Salon Rose to anybody. Admittedly, we did not get to try the food, as the attitude of the staff drove us off as we were ordering. We wanted to get a late night dessert, and were pleased to see that the restaurant served gelato. It was empty (10% capacity), so we saw no issues taking a table for dessert. This was, however, an issue for our server. Upon ordering, he told us that it is against their policy to serve just dessert, but he would check with the manager to see if they could make an exception. The manager came to our table and reiterated their policy, but said they would make an exception. At this point, we told him we were not interested. They made us feel as though we were asking for a handout, when in fact we were paying customers. I asked to speak with the maître d' about this supposed policy. He confirmed that such a policy does exist. I pointed out that their policies were posted on the wall, and no policy of this nature was on there. He became visibly agitated and changed the reasoning, now telling me it was customary not to come in for just dessert. I suggested they include this in their list of policies to avoid miscommunication with future guests. Imagine operating a restaurant that's 90% empty and welcoming paying customers with a "we don't usually take people like you" sentiment. The staff was pretentious, and, for a restaurant that was probably operating at a loss during this hour, they had quite the audacity.

A bit disappointing really. A glass was dirty and 180ml lemonade was €8. We had a 3 course lunch meal. My choices only saved me €1! The artichoke soup was very tasty. My beef was ok, but had some gristle. The chestnut mousse was very nice if a little rich. We had a table in the window. The view to the sea was lovely.

Me and my friend ere there on 08.07. and we ordered something to drink and one strawberry tiramisu. One waiter was very unfriendly but everything else was great. When we got the dessert there was hair in it, we called pur waiter right away and he brought us a new tiramisu. In my opinion you can eat and drink at much more luxury place for cheaper.

Food and service from our waiters was great and not expensive. Only knock on it was that we were told the entry ticket to the casino could be used as credit for the restaurant but we forgot to validate when paying; afterwards when we returned they denied the validation for the tickets even though we had receipts. Evian water was also 10 EUR

Ordered the pasta and duck. Pasta was surprisingly well done. It's simple yet delicious. Sauce is just right and pasta al dente. Duck was soft and tender that comes with a strip of pork fat which enhances the flavour of the duck. There were also 2 pate like medallion with brulee on top which was absolutely divine. Good combination of savoury and sweet with soft and crispy. Staff were attentive and check if we need more bread throughout the meal.

5 star service, 4 star food. The food was fairly priced and the meals were flavorful and decent in portion sizes; however; the fries came out colder than they should have been and the butter for the bread was too cold to cut. Butter should be served room temperature. Overall, was impressed with the service and the helpful staff.

Best place to dine in the south. The food was delicious and well-cooked. The price is not expensive either! 22 euros for a pasta and wine! (Only available during lunch on weekdays)It is really hard to find good pesto and troffiete in France but they make it well! They also fullfilled my reservation request for a window seat🥰. There is free bread, tap water available and sauces are served in a jar. The interior looks really good just like the rest of the casino. Only downside is you need to register for the Monte-Carlo membership before being able to eat there. Its a bit confusing for the first time as you have to go to the casino on the other side to get the card.

Beautiful restaurant. Yes, some things are pricey (coca cola!) and others are excellent value (pasta, desserts), but you don't feel ripped off because it's REALLY good. The pastas are delicious. Ratatouille was out of this world (my daughter asked "does it remind you of childhood?" And I answered "yes."). Had two desserts of course. One was good, one was one of the most perfectly balanced, creamiest, flavor bomb of ecstasy I've ever eaten (a San Lorraine?). Servers were efficient and friendly. It really was not pretentious at all. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent (tartare and risotto), as was the view and atmosphere especially considering the reasonable price, would go again! Only concern was our waiter (moustache) was rude/judgemental, but the rest of the staff and cooks were lovely

The Salon Rose is a hidden gem that many residents don't even know. You can have there a luxury lunch or dinner at one of the best locations of Monaco (Casino building) for a quite reasonable price. My personal favourites are grilled sea bass filet with ratatouille and beef burger with foie gras and (crispy) French fries. The open kitchen allows you to see how food is prepared. All (very friendly) waiters and cooks wear a mask correctly (resp. did when it was required), something that is not common at many restaurants. The high ceiling mean a lot of air, also good in times of Covid. During summer you can sit outside on a terrace.

Best fries I have ever tasted! The service was great and the entry ticket could be used in part to offset the bill. The tartar was delicious (and handchopped). Prices are much lower than around Monaco in general and you get to avoid all the Scrooge McDucks that don't want to pay the 17€ entry fee for the casino (eliminates all the nastiest and shoulder-in-your-face-to-get-a-photo tourists). 10/10 would visit again for the fries, the view to the sea and the quiet.
