On April there are works being done at the beach. No access to the beach or the water. The view is still beautiful. The public bathroom in that area are really clean.

A good mix of private restaurants and public access areas. Recommend to wear strong shoes, as the beach has pebbles, instead of sand.

Beautiful, clean beach with lot of good vibes. Very calm atmosphere, this is a great public beach. We went in September end, it was cold hence could not swim or get into the waters. Lot of cafes by the beach side.

My last day in Monaco went for a swim at Larvotto beach fabulous it a free public beach in monaco.but just be aware the cafés are not cheap 8euro for a coffee.but still loved it number 5 bus from Monaco train station.

The cleanest and tidiest beach I have ever seen in the middle of a city. It has changing rooms, showers and toilets. In the sea, there is a jellyfish net which keeps the water clean. There are restaurants, cafes and shops where you can buy umbrellas and towels for the beach. It is not a sandy beach, but one with very small stones. Dogs are not allowed. No smoking also.

A nice place to relax in the heart of Monaco. Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. Accessibility is great. The water is clean and not cold at all. Free showers available!

Really great beach with beautiful views. Didn't get super crowded on a warm weekend day. There is no sand, only small pebbles which can be a pain if they get in your sandals. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Local, clean, small beach with little stones, and few restaurants. I was there in the middle of October, I can't imagine how full it is in the summer season.

I used to come here in the 1970s, so this artificial beach is starting to have a bit of history. It's still an attractive beach made of very small pebbles. The promenade has good shops and bar restaurants. There is a shower for swimmers. The sandy powder in the pebbles makes for somewhat milky water, so snorkeling is to be done elsewhere. Outside of the buoys is a swimming / diving platform. Access to, or exit from, the water is not easy for people who don't walk well or heavy people because of the slope of the beach. Parking is right behind the beach, underground and not that expensive.

Stunning location, excellent for families and small kids, flat crystal clear water and things to jump off of older kids. Netted & safe. Highly recommend, we came late in the day, but could easy spend a whole day (ahem year 😉) here lazing in the sun sipping cocktails 🍸

Considering it is the only public beach in Monaco it is actually quite nice. Would be better if it was actual sand instead of gravel but still a nice beach for a dip

Nice beach that is well taken care of. You can stroll along the newly renovated modern waterfront, where you’ll find nice coffee shops shops and restaurants all along. Clear blue waters. Clean amenities (toilets, showers).

Nice beach with clean water. There are parts for free but also parts, where you can borrow a sunbed. There are small stones but nothing uncomfortable. You can also use the toilet and shower for free.
Markus Lesser Google Reviews
Great beach in Monaco, if you have an umbrella no sunbed is needed, sunbeds are around 40€ each plus umbrella extra, public toilets and showers available and snacksbars with resonable prices

This beach was easy to find, accessible by bus from the train station and just perfect for what we were looking for. We had a short stay in Nice and wanted to be sure to do all the things, that included a trip to the beach, a dip in the sea and a visit to Monte Carlo. We were able to do it all and back in Nice by 2 pm.
The beach was rocky but comfy to sit on with a towel. Washrooms and shops line the beach so very convenient to change or grab a quick snack.

We were looking for a scenic place for our wedding ceremony, after learning our hotel couldn't accommodate us. Larvotto Beach is a public beach with pristine white sand and all the elegance of Monaco.

Really lovely beach, nice and clean, not too big, but very lively. Plenty of little shops and places to eat right there, so could spend the whole day there if you wanted to. One downside was the poisonous jelly fish presence, so need to be careful when swimming - it stings really badly.

Nice clean beach. Very convenient parking a stone's throw (100 meters) just 25.00 euro day. Various restaurants on the beach at normal prices but if you want you can also enjoy a good stuffed focaccia for only 6.50 euros.

We were here in passing and we stopped on the walls to eat packed. .. let's say it was time for dinner and the sun was not really excellent but it gave me the air of a beach a little sad .. with the sea that after the wall seemed really sea but before .. near the beach looked like a pool of water . nice but to see the skyscrapers of Monaco while you are on the beach and there a few steps you have many local. Showers available

I recommend bringing an umbrella.
Quiet beach, clean sea.
You can bring a cooler bag with drinks and sandwiches to have a lunch.
Otherwise
There are bistros with pizza slices, salads, sandwiches.
Prices not excessive.
I don't know the prices of the paid beaches but believe me even if there is no sand (small stones) you will be fine!!!!!
I forgot: free beach shower!
It's really worth spending a few days at Larvotto Plage, not before taking a souvenir photo of the Fountain!
