Not the great cuisine but it helps, in the middle of a visit to the oceanographic museum when everyone is hungry, it’s fast. Super fast service, and very friendly and accommodating staff. We're not going for great. Eating well, but it troubleshoots, it is convenient and the service was fast and pleasant, at 1:30 pm.

I came back yesterday, to the restaurant "La Terrasse", on the Rock, invited by a colleague. Last year I came often, alone or with my family. We were immediately greeted by the Director, Giulia, who with her wonderful smile invited us to choose our seats. And seeing the sun, we preferred the outdoors. We started for Trofies with Pistou (me) and Spaghetti ''seafood'' for my Colleague. Then an eggplant and mushroom omelet for me (I remind you, I am vegetarian...). And all-you-can-eat mussels for her. With a good Piedmont wine we feasted. The desserts, were advised by Giulia herself. And as usual, the check was cheap. Long live the Oceanographic Museum, long live the Terrace!

When we said “un latte s’il vous plaît”, the staff asked us if it is white latte. We answered yes, and he brought us a hot milk because this is how he understands. Very fun place.

A FUÏRE!!! The worst restaurant we went to , double zero, overcooked mussels without seasoning and I am not talking about fries ☹️ and watch out for very aggressive gulls!

Dropped in with my family and granddaughter. Basic cafe food but the service by the waiter was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. A lovely waiter that made our day that little bit more special.

Nice place to eat something after visiting a museum. We went to a snack bar and had some crepes, drinks and ice-cream. Reasonable prices, tasty crepes and fast service after ordering...but had to wait a while before ordering. A playground nearby therefore you can eat while kids are playing. Therefore a good experience overall.

To escape: very unkind waiters, tasteless dishes, . Avoid salads: for the chef's 1/2 boiled egg, the salad not good, a pinch of grated carrots, half a tomato, some grains of but, 2 half slices of ham surrounded by cheese, some olives. For pasta carbo: pasta in quantity but very peppery and 3 bacon that fight in duel... only the fish of the day does not fare too badly...4 dishes + 3 drinks = 86 euros We will not go back and we do not recommend this restaurant....moreover the waiters seemed much more interested in a large table that consumed starter, dessert dishes, drinks....in short much more interesting. The only advantage: to be in the museum....but it is better to eat elsewhere

Among the “tourist” places that we do not fail to visit during our stays on the French Riviera, the Oceanographic Museum and their rooftop restaurant. The welcoming staff, some waiters who are still there recognized us. Very good lunch, with grilled fish and Italian wine advised by the room manager. Small downside (lack of luck on our part): the day of our visit the ice cream was unavailable due to a breakdown, so we could not have our Banana Split. However, we tried a very good orange cake. It is a simple cuisine and has a good Award compared to some places in Nice, recommended if you have children because there is a playground not far away.

What a disaster final place after a delightful visit to the museum. Waiters tried to do a good job by serving horrible food to my wife, our 3 yearold child and I. Salads were disgusting, microwave heated goats cheese and completely uncooked bacon. Roast chicken child meal was not roasted at all, again microwaved and tasteless chicken or tasted like assassinated poultry. Avoid at all costs…this place does not deserve any customers unless the chef starts working. Never never again!

The place has no customer focus. Stuff did not give a s..t. We were the only customers sitting there 20 minutes waiting if someone came and ask if we want something, while 3-4 staff were sitting 2 tables from us. At the end I went in to pay where another 3-4 staff were chatting with eachother. Never again. Don’t go there.

Very nice place to stay. I recommend staying outside as there is a playground for the kids and a nice sea view. Food is good, I can recommend pasta if you are in a hurry. The location is great, but you need to buy a ticket to the museum (also great) to reach it

This is a restaurant in the museum. It has both indoor and outdoor dining. Since we would like to spend more time in the aquarium and the museum, we decided to dine there. The first impression wasn’t good as the staff who served us didn’t sound friendly. However, subsequent staff who took our orders and the last staff who settled our bill made up for the initial poor service so I decided to give it 4 stars instead of 3. The steak done medium rare and wine were good! The desserts were a delight and I strongly recommend them. The mussels was only average. Hence, I recommend the steak done at medium rare. The sides were plain as you only have a choice of vegetables or fries.

I almost never write a review, but this place deserves it. Horrible place. 0 atmosphere, dirty tables, walls, broken chairs. It looks like some bad school cafeteria. Rude and zero respect service. Food is almost has no taste. Prices to quality is too high. Dont expect anything good in here. I will never comeback here.

After reading the negative reviews I was concerned, but was very hungry so went there. But actually I liked the place. Waiters are okay, just always in a hurry, there's a queue to get there, so they are trying to accommodate. Food isn't 5* quality (my green beans were overcooked .. however the veal escalope was soft and tasty, maybe a bit too salty, but really okay), but €18 for a healthy hot meal with the sea & Monaco view was not a bad experience at all. I am giving 5* for price for value (value including location and logistics)

friendly staff and great view given the great weather! there were so many seagulls flying around tho… thank god we sat inside! the seafood was very surprisingly fresh!! but the pasta was disappointing. the fruit sauce of panna cotta was too sour and the pudding itself wasn’t soft enough… not bad but not good experience

I never expect a good quality food from the places located in the spots like aquariums, theme parks etc. But this one is outstanding… in a bad way. I have never seen service like this before. Waiter would throw menus on the table without looking. When they forget a part of the order (a dish for one person at the table) they don’t even say simple “sorry” or “excuse me” and just leave and deliver this order upon completion like if it was a part of routine. When another table broke the plate instead of asking if they were okay or needed help, waiter just rolled his eyes up and went on with his other duties There are a lot of very nice places outside in five minutes walk. Just don’t waste your time and nerves here. Also, super expensive for very mediocre quality

Reasonably priced for a place like Monaco.visit this place to see the birdseye views from the terrace of the ocean and the principality. Menu is basic but we loved what was served.coffee was good. Terrace also has turtle conservation centre with live turtles

Hands down the worst food I have ever been served in a restaurant. Last weeks dry bread while we waited for our food, served with Olive Oil and Balsamic, no side plates though; my son had chips, not that hard to mess up, my wife had a disgusting chicken salad that consisted of a very basic lettuce and tomato arrangement with blue eggs and a boiled reheated chicken breast chucked on top; I had the steak with blue cheese sauce that was basically rare, I sent it back to be cooked medium and when it came back out i could tell it had just been put in the microwave and reheated. I couldn’t eat it, so we paid and left. Terrible experience. Would avoid like the plague. If the aquarium wasn’t there feeding them unsuspecting customers I very much doubt they’d still be in business.

Food was decent, but the staff was extremely rude (man in his 50s speaking Italian). Just because I asked to be sat on an area that doesn’t smell like a kitchen they tried to serve me the wrong dish on purpose - and then mock me! Qui, les farcis (qui e’taient pas des farcis) ont ete bons - ton charachter pas vraiment...

The service at the restaurant on top of the Oceanographique Musee is nice and hospitable, their understanding of what comprises a salad - nicoise in my case - unfortunately doesn’t match that at all. It looked like canned tuna, put together with salad straight from a premade bag. Luckily, the weather was great and we still had a very enjoyable break in the sun.
