This place was excellent. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We were able to get a menu in English and our waiter was fantastic. The starter and green salad were delicious and the main entree of penne with fried egg plant was superb. We finished it off with the tiramisu. We would definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant. It was very busy when we were there and service was great!

Don’t get me wrong the food was great but our waiter clearly didn’t want us to be there. Tried to take our baby’s pram away from us ignoring us saying that we needed to keep it with us. Walked away from us repeatedly when we were trying to order or ask questions. A LOT of tables came and went in the time it took for us to be in and out. The food is very good but we will not be returning

I ate two weeks ago in this restaurant. I ordered the crudo. I quickly became ill and reported my condition to the manager the next day. He took my coordinates and promised to call me back. I found his attitude correct and waited for his call. An apology for the inconvenience caused (two days of illness) and the story would have been settled, especially as I turned a blind eye to the bill that contained three coffees and two tiramisus that my friend and I had not ordered. I didn’t intend to write this comment, but after meeting the manager today who never called me back, I changed my mind. He was unpleasant and dismissive when I came to see him. I live in Monaco a few meters from this establishment. Barely a hello, not a sorry. My friend experienced a similar (less serious) situation in another restaurant four years ago. She received an orchid and an apology card. Since then, she has returned regularly. Sir: it is easier than you think to please a client. A little friendly gesture is enough.

I visited La Piazza right after Christmas. I ate the whole menu based on lobster. All ingredients are fresh and well prepared. As a professional cook myself I can only highly recommend this restaurant. I’ve been well served by positive and professional staff. Loved the experience and will definitely come back. It’s rare to find in Monaco the restaurant with such a great atmosphere and standards satisfying even difficult costumers. Excellent quality food and service. Feels homey and welcoming. Thank you and keep up your business with passion and love, well appreciated.

Newly modernised interior. It was closed for over 12 months. The food standards have dropped. The prices have gone up. The waiters are dirty. We won’t be returning again. RIP La piazza

The service is awful and the waiters hands are dirty and their mouths smell. The menu is over priced and the food is average. I left the restaurant still hungry because lasagna and the sea bass is so thin and small - its child portions. The manager loves to walk around and shake hands and breath heavily on your plate and say “ bon apetito”. I am sorry but the place is really bad and its no longer worth a visit. The old la piazza with the lady owner was excellent.

Once upon a time... very little remains of the Italian restaurant of a few years ago. Nothing to say about the environment, completely renovated. The menu has been much reduced, with a standardization of the offer... But the problem is the quality of the food. Very downsized. Good pappardelle Bolognese. But the culatello served with carasao bread and oil (OIL!) you can not see and even less eat! Sea bass requested, no longer available (20:15!). Lamb chops (memorable!) no longer available... Sweet: floury and “artificial” vanilla ice cream. Passable tiramisu. The service was very friendly and helpful. The final puff pastry remains, always nice. We will be back. It deserves, by history, another chance.

Our dining experience and service was a Michelin star. Gabrielle was a server for the evening and made our evening memorable. Our appetizer of stuffed zucchini flowers was like stepping back in time to my Nonno's kitchen. The freshly made pasta was so light and beautifully paired; one dish with eggplant and the other Bolognese were delicious. We finished our dinner with a Gateau ricotta pistachio cake which tasted like a cannoli. Sitting on the terrace topped the evening as the setting of cars and people with the lovely weather made the end to a wonderful evening.

Tourist trap! The foods is no good! cheap olive oil, dry and over cook burn bitter sea foods, everything is expensive than beach restaurants but much worst! Even the wine is no good. The service is bad too, very rude.

26€ cocktail with two FLIES in. Reason given: “because fruits are too fresh, that’s why there are flies inside”. No compliment given, just replaced cocktail. Won’t come back. The restaurant’s reply here adds to what I said. They want to mean I’m lying. Well, I have part of that video with the drink. Too bad I didn’t film it all because I didn’t want to hurt the restaurant reputation. Unfortunately I understood the “quality” of your service already after the cocktail was taken away and replaced. And, the restaurant, if you want more details, write to me. I like your own reply, I am not hiding anything and am not accusing anyone falsely. The incident was on August 6 in the evening. Attached is the photo of the waiter.

We travelled to Monaco from Canada. We had the BEST experience eating at La Piazza. The food (pasta dishes and tiramisu) were some of the best I have ever had. Our server Alain was one of the kindest people we have met on our trip! We would come visit Monaco again to eat here. 10/10 all around!

Our waiter (Leo) made a fine experience incredible. Leo totally made this night one of the best ever. The restaurant is very nice but Leo made it amazing. The food was fabulous and the ambiance is very cool but having a waiter who cared was extra special. I was in the service industry for 40+ years and Leo was exceptional. We will remember this night!

Best place we went in Monaco (we found Monaco to be quite boring, busy and extremely overhyped), food is solid, aperol spritz was particularly well made 👏🍹 and the staff were attentive. It’s quite chaotic, but I didn’t find anyone to be rude. You just need to wait by the menu at the front of the restaurant and not in their way.

First I went to the North side of the street (restaurant is on both sides of the street) where I was told to go to the south side. There I was sat at a table with menus and never attended again, despite 2 attempts with 2 different 'waiters'. Obviously I did not try the food and I don't intend to either. Strange behaviour from all 3 Staff I encountered 🤷🏻♂️ Service 1 Ambiance 3 Makes 2 stars ⭐️

Very good Italian restaurant. Split into 2 dining rooms across the street. Modern one has better air conditioning and historical one is very cosy. But the main actor is the one and only – the kitchen. All ordered dishes were very delicious and generous in size (minestrone and lobster pasta pictured below). Wine list is comprehensive and offers a good variety of both baby-bottles and magnums. Strongly recommend to visit La Piazza for lunch or dinner!

Dropped in for a late pint and snack. Was amazed that the football was on TV. Caviar and wine worth 40k isn't normally showing games, but staff were lovely, friendly and the place immaculate. Sunday night in January never gonna have a swinging atmosphere but it was spotless, friendly, comfy and welcoming. Pints at 10 eu each was eye watering but worth it.

It's not a restaurant too much pushed on the web but for the Local this restaurant became an icon of Monaco if you pass by you should enjoy the moment of the kindness of the people that work there. And the tasty food that is made with fresh ingredients every single day. i personally suggest to take a look of the seafood salads, the homemade pasta and the meat. you will not be disappointed. If the wine it's what you like the also offer a good variety of little houses from Italy and the most know wines.

On our first wedding anniversary we had our most delicious meal and most enjoyable vibe in Monte Carlo. This is where the Locals eat and we would come back just for the restaurant. The owner came to see how we were upon our leaving and made us feel so welcome and asked how we were, how we enjoyed Monaco and made us feel extra special. We will be Back!!

Cozy Italian restaraunt, really good food and quick service, the prices are a bit on the high end, but can't complain about it in Monaco, mains starting with EUR 25. Had pasta with cozze & vongole which was absolutely great. Mind the fact that smoking is allowed on verandah. Many Russians around, seems like their local place to go, but we didn't mind. The location is good but given the ongoing construction works all over Monte-Carlo, this place got unlucky with a busy construction site just out of the door, so not the best view reallly )) I'd go for Starbucks next to Fairmont to enjoy spectacular scenery with a cup of cappuccino for just 5 EUR.
