Despite my politeness, I was very shocked to have been treated in such a rude manner and offensive manner this morning. The gentleman behind the counter made no effort to assist me with a registered letter to our address. I had just returned from travel and the post had already been resent back to the sender.. ok .. that happens. I have to travel for work, not my fault and that's not why i am complaining. i am complaining because the older man behind the counter clearly took a dislike to me from the beginning, huffing when he had to search his tablet for the registered post, asking for my personal ID when he clearly the post was no longer there.. (why did he need to see sensitive info apart from being nosy?) . he also claimed that i needed to represent the company who sent the letter to me (how? it is just a registered letter to my address that i am being asked to collect)... Incredibly rude, unprofessional and frankly offensive. I personally believe that he disliked me instantly because I am foreign (from Northern Europe)... even though i spoke entirely in French. Not acceptable in 2024.
