If you're near Port Hercule, make a quick stop to see the bronze statue of Juan Manuel Fangio, one of Formula 1’s greatest drivers. Just a few steps from the castle stairs, this masterpiece by Spanish sculptor Joaquim Ros Sabaté shows Fangio casually leaning on his legendary Mercedes-Benz W196. It’s the perfect mix of history and cool vibes, set against the lively backdrop of the marina. Even if you’re not a racing fan, it’s hard not to appreciate the craftsmanship and iconic pose. Bonus: the nearby castle stairs make for a great photo spot or an excuse to burn off that gelato. Don’t forget to strike a pose next to Fangio—he makes leaning on a car look like an Olympic sport.

Quality sculpture to an icon! Cute sculpture or monument to arguably the finest motor racing icon ever. He is really ‘the’ idol for any motor racing fan or driver and having been to Argentina too and seen the level of idolisation he receives in his native country it was fitting to see this car in the iconic capital of F1 motor racing tracks. Fantastic tribute to a fantastic racing driver!
