For this reason, I decided to actively contribute to student life by becoming Head of Trips, where I successfully led the planning and development of the IUMSa Ski Trip project, an initiative that truly reflects the university’s dynamic and innovative spirit. I've completed my Bachelor in Business Administration back in 2008 and am very grateful for the education and the overall life experience I enjoyed from and at IUM. The small rather school-size lectures enabling a direct and intensive attention from each of the professors was crucial for my beneficial academic and personal development. The professors usually combine a profound academic background (not seldom from Ivy league universitites) with deep practical know-how from years of work experience in the very fields they teach. They are actually accessible for discussions and support beyond the official lecture times. The administrational staff is also very committed, the career service helped me greatly in moving into the highly competitive corporate finance world and build a successful career in M&A advisory. Working with more that 40 different nationalities cultivated my cultural understanding which fostered my ability to lead cross-border M&A transactions all over the world, quickly connecting with different protagonists in various countries. IUM is absolutely unique in its positioning and academic services provided and I can't recommend it enough.
