The food was absolutely delicious — every dish felt fresh, flavorful, and carefully made. The service stood out too; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly without being too formal. The only thing to keep in mind is that the prices are definitely on the higher side. But if you’re looking for a quality meal with great Greek vibes, it’s definitely worth it.

This restaurant should be featured on premium TV channels for high class clientele. 10/10 , truly amazing Chefs, probably in top 2 in all restaurants i have been in the world, and I have eaten in few hundreds of restaurants. Thank you for imprinting such a beautiful Monte Carlo memory!

A flawless dining experience at GAIA Monaco. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth and elegance. The team is not only highly professional but genuinely kind, attentive, and accommodating — striking the perfect balance between efficiency and heartfelt hospitality. Every detail of the service was impeccable: from the timing of the dishes to the thoughtful wine pairings and the way each request was handled with a smile. You truly feel like a valued guest. As for the food — outstanding. Authentic flavors elevated with finesse, beautifully presented, and full of character. GAIA is a masterclass in modern Mediterranean dining, where tradition meets luxury. An unforgettable experience, not just for the food, but for how the people there make you feel. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to Gaia and we couldn't wait to return after our first lunch there a couple of years ago. Service is excellent and staff is very nice. This second lunch didn't provide us with the 'wow' we had previously. Food was delicious but not extraordinary. Portions are large and we could have ordered about half of what we did. Atmosphere is lovely and very upscale. Be prepared to spend a lot, especially if you are having wine with your meal.

What a lovely well located restaurant with an entrance covered in brightly coloured bougainvillea. We arrived a little before the 19.00 and walked in on everyone having a meeting but they we very nice and asked us to wait. Once they let us in we walked passed a very large ice bed of fresh seafood some of which were so fresh they were reaching out to be rescued . We were given a lovely quiet table in the corner and service was quietly efficient. My friend asked for a cocktail not on the menu and they had no problem in producing it . Our meal of meat balls , prawn saganaki , sole and calamari - all beautifully cooked especially as prawn and calamari are very sensitive and sole can dry out. This is definitely a restaurant we will visit again .

They pretend to be a Greek restaurant but unfortunately they don't have much to do with it. I don't even know how to get a cold ouzo. The Greek salad was left. The barbunya were not fresh .The potatoes were not traditional and not fried in fresh oil! The turbot was very overpriced. I was very disappointed and it came to that that everything was pointlessly overpriced!!! If you want to go out for a Greek meal you don't need champagne and beluga caviar!!!

Awesome terrace in the heart of Monte Carlo. The service was a bit slow, which is very understandable considering it was Formula 1 Saturday.

Changing my opinion and giving 5 stars for everything! Yesterday, an incredible lady served our table, and she was absolutely brilliant. She skillfully guided us through the menu, suggesting what to adjust and what to add, and even paired an unbelievably delicious wine! Everything was incredibly tasty and the dishes were served so quickly. We ordered zucchini salads, spinach pie, and octopus. Everything was fantastic! We’re beyond impressed! Thank you, Gaia team , for fixing all the issues — your service deserves a confident 5 stars!

A sharp reduction in one year: an example: the portions of squid for the same price have halved! It no longer makes sense. We won’t go back even though we live nearby.

We decided on our last evening in Monte Carlo to stay at the Gaia, and that was an absolute highlight. The food was great, though not as “typical Greek” as we know it from Germany. Everything was just right and the Greek yogurt at the end was awesome. Perfect!

Despite a week’s Reservation and a half-empty restaurant, we are refused a terrace table. Was it because of my two teenage daughters? So bad , Monaco is full of very good restaurants more welcoming and we ate very well elsewhere...

We are true Greek restaurant aficionados - husband is half Greek - so we decided to try out this cute restaurant near our hotel. Seated quickly and offered a wooden table for my bag - nice touch! - and a small appetizer plate to nibble on. We enjoyed the watermelon with feta stack, the tzatziki and pita bread, greek salad, shrimp saganaki, and the dessert of donuts with a Happy Anniversary plate. The saganaki was dry and didn't have enough cheese - but we are very picky. Service was excellent, vibe was fun, and nice lighting.

The food at this restaurant was exceptional, with a diverse range of dishes that were all outstanding. While the service from our waiter was satisfactory, it did not detract from the overall excellence of the dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional, fresh cuisine in Monaco.

Gaia Monaco was an extraordinary dining experience that left a lasting impression. The restaurant’s atmosphere is both elegant and vibrant, with a beautiful interior that perfectly complements the exquisite food. I was particularly impressed by their famous yogurt dessert—it was a delightful surprise, both in taste and presentation. The staff were not only courteous and professional but also genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch with their warm smiles and light-hearted humor. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Monaco. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and sharing this gem with my family!

My favorite restaurant in Monaco. I suggest taking a lot of appetizers to share for the whole course, mains are not that great as all starters are. Sea bream ceviche, moussaka, octopus, tzatziki, feta with honey are the best. Service is amazing, attentive and professional staff.

(Last visited 11/6/2021.) Never in my life did I think I'd find myself wandering the streets of freaking Monaco while filming the plethora of supercars that traverse the numerous twisted streets for my YouTube channel, but here I am! I spent about 10 hours walking around, gawking and just seemingly living in Heaven as V12 after V12 roared past me, but after all of that... I'm hungry and it was rather late. One thing I've learned in Europe though, is that places stay open LATE. So I did some Yelp'ing, but there wasn't Yelp in the area so I did some good ol' Google'ing and I found this place. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is kinda nestled at the top of a city hill among some other restaurants, but I also wanted a place to film for my channel (The Hungry Road). I heard some PUMPIN' music coming from inside so I spoke to the hostess and of course I didn't have an reservation, but they worked with me. They let me sit in the bar right next to the live DJ. This place is BEAUTIFUL. There is a main dining room that's elegantly decorated which lies just past the raw bar showcase. Once through the dining room you enter the bar area which I was sat. The bar is straight ahead, but if you make a right you go to the outdoor section of the restaurant that stretches the entire length of the restaurant. Service: I can't remember the name of my server, but the service was impeccable. They saw my camera equipment and were extra friendly. Lol. They made good recommendations, helped me with wine choices and so much more. Food: I started off with some complimentary focaccia bread that's served with feta cheese, tomatoes and olives. I put all of the ingredients on the bread and tried them all together. It was amazing. The feta cheese was so creamy, tomatoes were fresh and everything just tasted of the highest quality. For my entrée I went with the "Katsikaki", which is baby goat served underneath roasted tomatoes and peppers. It's cooked for 48 hours to create such a tender experience. It was so succulent, savory, hearty and a good portion size. Like, I didn't even think it was goat and I had to ask my server if what I was eating was correct. Lol. It was THAT good. For my first side I chose the "Riza" and it's a very buttery, garlicy, delicious Basmati rice that was so tender. My other side dish was "brokolo", which is lightly seared broccoli that's cooked with chilis, garlic and lemon oil. It was cooked a little past al dente, which was fine, but the lemon and the garlic kinda take their time punching your taste buds. Very delicious. Value: It's Monaco... and you don't come here without money in your pocket. I believe my bill for everything came to around 150€. I mean, it's kinda what I expected. Lol. In conclusion, I'M SO HAPPY THAT I STOPPED IN! I had so much fun meeting the friendly people of Monaco, trying the incredible Greek dishes of Gaia and just really enjoying myself. I will certainly make a return trip here WHEN I catch myself in Monaco again! If you made it this far in the review, I appreciate you reading. Please do me a favor and head on over to "The Hungry Road" on YouTube and subscribe! My channel features a lot of food, car and exclusive shoe related content! Help me grow! Thank you so much!

The restaurant is in a prime location, right across the casino. It’s an ideal place for lunch or coffee during the shopping and sightseeing in the centre of Monaco. It serves greek cuisine and seafood. We tried Greek salad, pita bread and Mousaka. They are all very delicious. We had 2 amazing desserts, coconut cake and pistachio strawberry tart. Plus a bottle of wine, it costed €320 for 3 people.

We went to Gaia for lunch on a friend’s recommendation. And we had one of the best meal in Europe ever. The restaurant is stylish, service was friendly and professional, the cooking was spot on, ingredients top notch. It’s not cheap, but we felt the price was worth every penny. We ordered whatever our server, Gregorie, recommended. The best: 1) thinly sliced seabrim was very fresh and the eating method was innovative. 2) The grilled octopus was the best we have ever eaten. I don’t know how the chef could make the octopus skin so crispy. 3) The seafood with ozzo pasta was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The slight hint of tomatoes was addictive. The good: 1) crispy calamary was tender and fresh. 2) Baked feta cheese was good combination of sweetness, tartness and savory. 3) Frozen greek yoghurt was refreshing and good end to a perfect meal. The bad: nothing, but we could imagine some people might have been a bit shocked by the bill. But we are in Monaco, at a hip restaurant, so we expected it already. The quality of ingredients and cooking more than made up for it.

Great restaurant with semi-outside tables where I also feel comfortable and safe in times of Corona. Open kitchen, all waiters and chefs in the kitchen wear a mask. Very good food, but no lunch offers and a bit expensive.
