Fairmont Hairpin
Formerly referred to as the ‘Station,’ ‘Fairmont,’ and ‘Loews’ Hairpin (named according to the nearby hotel), this corner stands out as one of the most iconic turns of the Monaco Grand Prix. Its fame likely stems from being the slowest corner on a notably slow track.

For all you Formula 1 fans this is the famous hairpin turn at the Fairmont hotel. It is the slowest turn on the entire course at about 30 mph. You can stand here for just a few moments and watch all sorts of luxury vehicles navigate the turn. There are always people here taking photos, but they move quickly. So getting a photo is pretty easy. There is also a sidewalk so that you can walk up and down the street without worrying about the cars going by.

It’s this famous F1 U-turn near Fairmont hotel. Even when there is no F1, you can still spot some cool cars there as on my picture. And it’s an Instagram spot as well. Otherwise, not much to see.

Technically one of the best places to catch the F1 cars during the race week. Otherwise seems a bit over rated, also has no recall or promotion placement connecting it with the F1 sport. Also if you are with someone who doesn't follow F1, it may seem that you are drumming up something really nice, but leaves them confused and frustrated when they reach the spot!!

If you're into Formula 1 this is the famous hairpin turn on the Monaco track, but there is a hotel right there with an amazing restaurant Amu, for lunch or dinner. I went for lunch, as a temporary guest they can store your luggage 😉. But definitely a must see if in Monaco. It's also an easy walk down from the Casino square.

I mean what can I say, this is the iconic Monaco Grand Hotel Hairpin!! The one and the only that you see on tv especially during formation laps and Lap 1 of the race, with the entire grid passing through and some opportunistic passes (*coughs Lando). As an F1 fan, one really appreciates the tightness of this curve and you really do appreciate how drivers have to put in full steering lock just to get around here.
