Monegasque National Committee of the International Association of Plastic Arts (AIAP) with UNESCO

Founded in 1955 by renowned Monegasque painter and architect Etienne Clérissi, the Monegasque National Committee of the AIAP operates under the Honorary Presidency of HSH Prince Albert II. The AIAP was originally established in Paris at UNESCO, supported by legendary artists Braque and Picasso.

The Committee’s mission is to promote the Plastic Arts in Monaco and foster artistic exchanges with creators from around the world. With over 80 National Committees globally, the AIAP aims to build a borderless artistic community that welcomes both emerging and established artists.

Supported by the Prince’s Government and the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, the Committee offers selected artists the opportunity to engage in residencies and heritage projects. Annual exhibitions are held at the prestigious Exhibition Hall of Quai Antoine 1er, alongside various other locations in Monaco and abroad.

Members benefit from workshops, conferences, and exclusive cultural visits, joining a dynamic, creative community committed to using art to overcome challenges and foster global friendship and solidarity.
