My husband and I had a wonderful evening and dinner thanks to the welcoming staff at La Vigie . They made what could have been an awful evening an amazing one . We had booked in advance a dinner at the Michelin Star restaurant next door Elsa .They stated that they had no reservation for us and offered us no help in getting a table. We walked next door and were welcomed and they even apologized which Elsa never did . All the staff from the moment we walked in was warm and friendly. I had the lobster pasta which was delicious . We enjoyed the same view of the harbor as we would have at the other restaurant. Don’t be wowed by the star next door . Come enjoy a delicious meal with a beautiful view and kind attentive service ..

Nice place, nice view, nice service. Free boat shuttle from Monaco. Food is just ok. The romantic atmosphere is ruined by a band playing Italian tunes from the 40's. The music does not fit in the context. It is loud and we can't talk when they are playing. I don't know if the band is playing every night.

Our experience at La Vigie was marvelous. The food was good, tasty, fresh and perfectly balanced. The location is great and the staff made sure we were having a great time while being discreet. In my opinion one of the best places in Monaco for a nice dinner in a relaxed environment.

Terrible food, drinks & service. Been here multiple times and it just gets worse. For the price you can get 100x nicer places. The ambience, view and music is nice, but it’s terribly managed & could be much better.

Let’s be honest you don’t go there for the food but for the view. It’s breathtaking with a colossal view on Monaco. The 3 stars are for the food. The quality and the precision for that kind of place is way too low. Farmed sea bass and uninspired fusion food. Tastes and menu without inspiration copying what others do. Too bad.

Zero stars. Hypocrites. I went with my wife to get a coffee dressed in shorts and t-shirts, they made us sit outside under the rain (and a leaking umbrella) and didn't let us sit inside in the nearly empty restaurant. The hostess was very disrespectful: we asked her for a table and as she was talking to us some other people came in dressed in fancy white shirts and shorts so she just went to them without looking back and seated them immediately. We were left at the entrance wondering if she's coming back or not. After few minutes we found another person and we asked him to be seated and he gave us a table outside although it was raining. At this point we felt very disrespected twice but we took the table as we were very thirsty and tired and wanted a coffee. After 2 minutes the overhead umbrella started leaking water on us and we decided to leave. They still didn't let us sit inside with the others.

If i can give this place negative stars I would!! Worst service I have ever had... Tried to grab n afternoon drink with my husband yesterday and was completely snobbed off by the staff! They actually seated us under the rain!!! We felt terrible and left immediately! Stay away!!

There are all typea of seating areas ie on lunch on daybed, coffee tables or dinning tables depending on your mood. Almost all tables and daybed have view of the sea. The food has a touch of Thailand and Asia. This is a great place to lounge. Great ambeince, music and view. Service is great and they try to accommodate your every desire. Restaurant manager was a very welcoming host. I had the spaghetti with burrata and all I can say is yum yum! Disappointingly toilets are filthy.

Stay away! This used to be a wonderful place with good food, great service and fantastic scenery - especially for lunch. Now, they stopped serving lunch...???!!! The dinner is a joke - the Maitre D is running around with trays of dead fish that he is shoving in your face every chance he gets... duh, I know what a fish looks like!!! The chef must be a student (or a drunk Frenchman) - how else can he consistently overcook everything? All food is served in a big pile on the plate (farmer style) and is completely without finesse. All this abuse is wrapped in a pretentious obnoxious attitude of the staff and prices to match (but hey, we are almost in Monaco, so that is OK). The chef and the staff need to be replaced, management needs to wake up or be fired - how can they ruin such a great location? Until they change, this is a no-go!!!
