Hot chocolate is good but at Eur 9.90 it’s too expensive for the rather small size of the cup. Service is not the best as they forgot our chantilly. Also, we wanted an espresso at 16:30 and the machine was already being shut down (30 min before closing).

So this place is basically a scam with a coffee machine? Impressive. They serve coffee colder than their customer service and charge prices higher than my electricity bill. You order a hot drink, and by the time it reaches you, it’s auditioning for a role as iced coffee. The chocolate? Might as well be melted disappointment mixed with regret. Honestly, if I wanted to throw my money away for something this bad, I’d just donate it to a scammer with more creativity.

The most Islamophobic and racist staff I have experienced in Monaco. I requested for a table for two they outright said no. Then I requested for take out they said they were closing soon. I requested to use the washroom they said no. They could’ve taken my money and allowed me to go the washroom like the French!!! Then I requested to use the phone to call a taxi. That’s when they gently escorted me out pointing to a public phone that is not functional. If the owner is reading this and cares about treating all humans with basic respect train your staff. I’m Canadian so my expectations are higher but that doesn’t mean Monaco cannot learn to undo their unconscious bias. Thank you

Seriously, best part of a recent visit to Monaco! Service was excellent with the waiter's recommendations spot-on. The Italian (thick) hot chocolate was the best I have ever had. For sure not a cheap place but this is Monaco and for me the price/quality was fair enough.

Sweet spot to take a break and enjoy a coffee with delicious cake. The smell of chocolate awakes all your senses and the little corner when the tables are, takes you out of the busy streets to make a real pause. Try the “gateau au citron” and the hot chocolate. Delicious!

First of all I think it’s important to underline how the staff (miss I. in particular) has been professional and polite, but friendly at the same time. Didn't buy much due to Monaco prices but the little pick and mix chocs on the till were gorgeous, I had a strawberry, a champagne, and a caramel and can recommend all three.

Monaco prices for Monaco quality. Very pretty inside, and staff is very friendly. Not crowded at all. Worth a stop if you are in the mood for expensive and fancy chocolates after a tour of the palace. Live life like royalty and get some chocolate, or be a pleb like me and just take pictures.

Maybe it has a lot to do with the presentation, and the setting, but I quite enjoyed a box of their chocolates which we ate rather decadently whilst lounging around in our suite at the Hermitage.
