Café de Paris Monte-Carlo
Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo at a Glance
Located at the Place du Casino, this hotel has become a popular attraction for both local and foreign visitors. It has become a reference when it comes to tourism in Monaco because of its historic architecture and luxurious infrastructure. Here, we are going to analyze everything you can enjoy in the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo during your next stay in one of its 209 rooms.
Location and Accessibility
The hotel’s location makes it close to other key attractions in Monaco, such as the Monte Carlo Casino, the Salle Garnier opera theater, and multiple fashion boutiques. One can also visit the Mediterranean harbor and the local port area on foot, as well as enjoy public facilities, gardens and cafés within a radius of 100 meters.
Facilities and Services
The hotel now offers a Wellness Sky Club, which offers a rooftop pool (available depending on the season), relaxation areas with a panoramic view, and a courtyard where guests can spend time with bar service. Winter attractions are indoor pool, gym and spa, the latter at the nearby Thermes Marins. Resort services and a private beach are accessible through a shuttle bus.
Guest Accommodations
Rooms are decorated in Art Deco style and offer marble bathrooms with double sinks, separate dressing rooms, and several other amenities. Standard rooms offer a garden view while luxury ones provide an extended view of the sea. For an additional cost, it is possible to upgrade for a casino-facing room or a Diamond Suite, which offers two bedrooms and a private rooftop pool.
Dining Options
There are multiple dining locations available. Em Sherif offers season Lebanese food; Louis XV has a menu worthy of three Michelin stars; Le Grill has a panoramic view and a retractable roof, and so on. The wine cellar offers a total collection of over 350,000 bottles. While room service is always available for breakfast, you can also have it served in multiple areas of the hotel.
Rates and Accessibility
You can book a room at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo starting at €770 in low season or €1,200 in high season. Guests with reduced mobility are accommodated with accessible suites and by using ramps and elevators in the common areas. Families can opt for interconnecting rooms and order additional resources like cribs and babysitting services during their stay at the hotel.

Stopped for a drink before we went into the casino. It’s right in the square which makes for a great people watching spot, however it’s objectively expensive for what’s served. For example, a Heineken was €17 and a coffee, which seemed as though it was from “bean to cup machine” was €8 (and served in a dirty glass).

Great cocktail, food and atmosphere sat out front. Ruined by poor service from one particular waiter who had no interest in serving me (ordered another drink that never arrived), or taking my payment. Even though he had just taken payment of two other tables and was passing me with the card machine he retuned the machine to the station and another much more pleasant waiter came to take payment. Disappointing experience honestly.

Café de Paris offers an unforgettable dining experience with its prime location overlooking the stunning Place du Casino. The first thing that catches your eye upon entering is the breathtaking chandeliers, which add to the restaurant’s elegant and sophisticated ambiance. This is undoubtedly a high class establishment, and the service reflects that. Everyone is exceptionally attentive, always ensuring that nothing is missing and that guests are well taken care of. The food is served in generous portions, making it well worth the price.

Café de Paris Monte Carlo Luxury, Atmosphere, and a Tourist Hotspot The Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, located right next to the famous casino, is an iconic spot in Monaco. As soon as you step in, you experience the unique Monte Carlo vibe elegant surroundings, a luxurious atmosphere, and a mix of visitors from all over the world. Yes, it is expensive a Desperados beer costs a hefty 10 euros, but that’s part of the experience. You’re not just paying for the drink; you’re paying for the privilege of sitting in the heart of Monaco, watching luxury cars pass by, and soaking in the ambiance. Despite being crowded with tourists, the service remains excellent. The waiters are attentive, friendly, and professional, ensuring a pleasant experience. Overall, it’s a great place to visit and enjoy a drink or coffee. The only downside is the high prices and the crowds, but that’s just part of the Monte Carlo lifestyle. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars

Super nice café in front of the Casino in Monte-Carlo. We went there without a reservation and got a spot at a high table in the bar area upstairs. We got a Salmon Tartar and of course I had to try the Crepe Suzette. I also had a cocktail, which was really strong. The crepe is with alcohol. I never tried this before and it was a new experience. For me the taste of alcohol was a bit too strong. I guess I would have enjoyed an alcoholfree version more. But it was still delicious nonetheless. After our visit we went outside on the balcony and the view was very pleasant.

It was our first time visiting and we were blown away by the warm and friendly service. We had an amazing table with a great view of the Casino. The cod and veal Milanese were absolutely delicious.I would give extra 5 stars for the thoughtful cake and candle for my Mum's birthday! Can't wait to return.

This was not the cheapest lunch I have ever had but the food, service, and ambiance was 2nd to none. The cafe was elegantly decorated. Every time you looked around you saw something different that you missed the first time. While the building was luxurious looking you could tell it was starting to show some wear and tear. We choose to sit inside as opposed to the terrace outside. The location right next to the casino is perfect. The food was delicious.

The appearance, menu, and atmosphere of this restaurant set very high expectations which unfortunately are not met because of the surprisingly slow service and mismatch of price to quality of the food - both taste and delivery. I ordered the truffle pasta and I received it slightly cold - while taste was mediocre with a ton of cream and overcooked pasta. Overall I wouldn’t choose the place again for something beyond coffee/drinks/dessert.

It was my first visit to Café de Paris after its reconstruction, and it did not disappoint! I made an excellent choice with the salmon and rice, which was perfectly cooked and flavorful. However, the highlight of our meal was the dessert—I highly recommend trying the crêpe Suzette. Fun fact: this iconic dessert was originally invented in Monaco at the Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, making it a must-try for anyone dining here!

Disappointing Experience - Café de Paris, Monte Carlo We were excited to visit Café de Paris, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. Early in the afternoon, there was no service on the upper terrace, and most of the cakes were already gone. The service was chaotic and very slow, with a long line of people waiting for tables, even though many were visibly empty. The location is lovely, but the overall experience was underwhelming. Hopefully, they improve their organization and service in the future. 3/5 stars.

An institution that is definitely worth seeing if only for the history and great views of the casino and Hotel De Paris. The service was good although our table wasn’t ready on time and we needed to ask for the bill a few times. I had the escargot and Niçoise salad which were nothing special. Overall a good one off experience as a tourist.

Stunning. The most expensive coffee and pastry I’ve ever had but also the best. Service is perfect. Coffee and strawberry tart were absolutely divine and the atmosphere, location and view simply cannot be beaten. Highly recommend

The food and views were great but I’m shocked at how horrible the service was. To start off, I ordered the mocktail, Pretty Mama. We get the drinks and it definitely had alcohol in it. We told our waiter who continued to argue with us and promise there wasn’t any. He angrily took it away and came back 20 min later just to tell us there was in fact alcohol in it. He apologized so whatever. But then we also ordered the beef tartare which on the menu says “prepared at your table.” We received it fully prepared and when asking the waiter, he copped an attitude saying it’s at your table and we continued to tell him that the menu says “prepared at table”. We ended up giving up but didn’t feel welcome at all throughout the dinner despite it being fairly empty for a Saturday night. Just not the service we expected for spending so much money.

Spent an afternoon on the outside terrace upstairs. Very good service, helpful and jovial staff. However, given that it was July, it was very hot and the terrace had nothing for cooling, just umbrellas (no fans, no water vapor system). Good food, very good and served qiuckly even though it was very crowded. Very clean brasserie, very clean toilets, although it was very crowded.

Favorite lunch of our French Riviera trip by far. Incredible food, atmosphere, and service - would highly recommend stopping for at least a drink on your visit to Monaco. I think it’d be a huge miss if you didn’t check out this spot!

Had drinks here to celebrate my son's birthday as we were visiting Monaco for the day. Just had to be done! Also we just got in in time before the people off the cruise ship arrived. It was lovely to sit and people watch whilst sipping our drinks! Drinks not too badly priced to say where we were. €10 for a beer and €13 for a lovely glass of presecco, paid more in worst places!

Beautiful place right next to the casino, with amazing ambiance… you can sit outside for drinks and people watching, but we chose inside for dinner next to the open window. Our meal was delicious, especially the liver - most tender I ever had! Thank you for a great experience.

This restaurant is an absolute gem located next to the famous casino in Monte Carlo, Monaco. It's a hotspot for celebrities and well-known individuals, and it's easy to see why. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is simply stunning. I decided to try the linguine clam pasta and it was an absolute game-changer - I've never had anything like it before! And to top it off, the chocolate milk I ordered was the perfect indulgence. The staff, from the servers to the front desk, were all incredibly welcoming and made the experience even more memorable. This is definitely a must-visit restaurant for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
