Location: Fairmont Monte Carlo, Monaco
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the condition of rooms, public areas, and staff common spaces
Propose and oversee maintenance schedules
Supervise and coordinate maintenance work with external companies and internal teams
Manage and monitor investment and maintenance budgets
Provide accurate reports to the General Manager
Oversee subcontracting contracts
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations
Conduct technical audits and monitor energy consumption
Recruit and train department staff
Evaluate work standards and implement improvements
Foster strong relationships with colleagues and other departments

Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or a specialized technical field
4-5 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel group or major hotel
Knowledge of technical standards in hospitality and various building trades is a plus
Fluent in French and English (Italian is an asset)
Strong knowledge of safety regulations in hospitality and public spaces
Autonomous and organized, with the ability to report efficiently to management
Proactive problem solver who can anticipate maintenance needs
Detail-oriented, ensuring property maintenance to the highest standards
Must pass SHL (seat) tests
